A Courage he never knew he had

In this chapter, I am exploring various sides of the characters and the complex emotions in their selves. So some characters (OC s) may seem and act very different from how you saw them until now (or in their apparent real life), mainly because of the situation they are in.

Ant: "Why break me Dec? Why?"

Dec: "Anth!!! No..no! Please believe me..look at me. I.did.not.do.that! I will never hurt you, Anthony...I cannot"

Ant: "I want to believe you. I want to trust you but - but Dec, who else?"

Dec takes in a deep breath at that

Dec: "Andrew"

Ant leans back from the hold and stares at Dec, still with mistrust in his eyes.

Ant: "Why would he?"

Dec: "Anth...why would I?" Dec's voice breaks and Ant just shakes his head.

Ant: "I don't know...but Andrew..he knows my friends and know why they will do to him if they get to know about this"

Dec: "Had that ever stopped him before? He - he wanted you to hate me, Anth...and when he realised that I know about this, he must have told it to everyone. Wait, for this to spread like this...he might have informed Dan Wootten. Anth...can't you see it?" He asks desperately.

Ant: "How- How did Andrew find out that you know?"

Dec: "I- I told him. When we were talking about Mac yesterday, he was repeatedly talking about his feelings for you and...and I got pissed at him and told him things. I am so sorry. It was stupid of me to give him a bait to catch me. I was so angry at what all he did and I wasn't thinking when I told him that I know. I messed up Anth... and you... And you got hurt because of that! Because of me!"

Ant looks at Dec for a few seconds probably wondering whether to trust him or not. Tears streamed down Dec's eyes, with the fear of losing Ant.

Dec: "Anth...I will never ever hurt you intentionally ...I can never hurt you..."

Ant: "Dec...I..." He sits with his back leaning to the wall and sighs "Why would he do that?

Dec: "He want you to hate me! He- he want me away from you! He want us away from each other"   Dec sighs heavily and Ant nods.

Ant: "And I just fell into it. Bloody usual ain't it? Acting without thinking and hurting you again...doubting you again...after all you have done for me, I doubted your again"

Dec: "No Anth, you did nothing wrong. Look,you are here... we are here...listening to each other... Anth...you know I won't hurt you like that, don't you?"

Ant: "I do and I did too...but it was hard to think right when I first heard about it. In my heart, I knew you wouldn't do it but my head kept on nagging me asking what if it's you! I couldn't think straight!"

Dec: "How did you hear it? Did Robbie?"

Ant: "Johnny. He didn't want me to meet Robbie before knowing this. I- I didn't go to meet them. I came here. I can't face them...I can't face Simon...I can't stand in front of them... This will break us Dec, this will break our friendship" Ant's voice breaks and Dec felt a pang of helplessness.

Dec: "I knew why Andrew did this but I was wondering why Dan and Piers and Jeremy were in on it... they think that this will break your friendship!"
