Put the Past to Rest

It took a few terrifying seconds for Dec to open his eyes again. He squints around to see the whole team around him. He felt fear clutching his chest knowing the questions that he has to face. But suddenly he is pulled into a familiar scent and the feeling of safety envelopes him.

Ant: "How are you?"

Dec: "Fiine, I am sorrrry" he slurs

Ant pulls out from the hug and looks at Dec in wonder.

Ant: "You are sorry?! I made you drink that thing! You are dehydrated. Now have this water and relax. I really don't want you to fall sick with poisoning"

They both knew that wasn't the only reason why he fainted. But it was a believable excuse and Dec wasn't surprised when the others took it.

Simon: "Ant! How can you do that to him?! after knowing his threshold??"

Ant: "I just wanted to know how much he can take!" He defends

Robbie: "Thank god he is fine"

Dermott: "Now are we going to talk about what just happened?"

Dec takes in a deep breath knowing it's time he explained it all. But Ant intervenes seeing Dec's worsened state.

Ant: "He is Dec's highschool boyfriend"

Dec feels frustrated at that "Ex!"

Robbie: "Well , I don't think he agrees to that. You dumped him?"

Dec flinches for a moment and only Ant sees it.

Ant: "Why do you want to know all that? It's personal!"

Simon: "A boyfriend, in their team..."

David: "We have friends from other teams"

Dec: "I didn't know! We- lost contacts four years ago. Well, mmm I had cut all contacts and- I don't know how ... found me... here"

Dermott: "Dec should be careful"

Dannie: "We all should be!"

Simon: "You sure he is your ex?!"

Dec looks at him with curious eyes.

Dec: "Why would you ask that? You think I am double crossing here?!"

His vodka induced brain seems braver than normal and the moment he uttered it, his limbs turn cold Fuck! Did I say that to Simon Cowell?!!!

But Simon just rolls his eyes "No, Declan! We all trust you. But seeing the way he looked at you, maybe you should re-think about your relationship. That's what I meant"

Dec : "Oh, no. No....can't....he is not what he seems ... he was behind that attack"

Dermott: "The attack! What should we do with Andrew?"

Anne: "We only have four more days for the finals!"

Ant: "I will talk to Philip the next time we meet. I don't know how we can trust him again"

Robbie: "We can't!"

Ant sighs heavily "I should have know ...I should have been careful..."

Dermott: "It's not your fault!"

Olly: "Yeah, It's Andrew. He broke all our trust again . God only knows what he will do next"
