Good Only?

Dec wakes up the next morning and walks upstairs in search of Ant.

He sees Ant sitting beneath their usual water tank and walks to him.

Dec: "Good Morning"

Ant: "Morning... how is your head?"

Dec: "mm what?"

Ant: "That day...when you fell down, you knocked your head. How is it now?"

Dec: "Oh that... I am fine. Just tired"

Ant: "Tired?"

Dec: "Sleepy..and lazy... calm down, Anth...I am fine"

Ant: "Doctor asked me to keep an eye on you. Just doing my job"

Dec shakes his head and leans over Ant's shoulder to look the sketch he is drawing

Dec: "What is that?"

Ant: "Abstract art"

Dec: "Why?"

Ant looks at him curiously "What why?"

Dec: "Why do you draw these things when you can draw well? What's the point?"

Ant sighs "These, Declan... are symbols..it stands for certain things...certain emotions...certain stories. Even these colours have meanings..."

Dec: "What is the meaning of this?"

Ant: "It's up to the audience. To the viewer... to you"

Dec: "I don't understand anything"

Ant: "Let me finish it first.. I will show you"

Dec: "You will?"

Ant: "Why do you doubt? You are the only one I am comfortable with"

Warmth fills Dec and he sees a frown marring Ant's face

Ant: "Eh, I mean, I am comfortable with my friends but I have never shown them my sketches and I mean-"

Dec: "I understand"

Ant sighs and smiles lightly before going back to his sketches.

Dec looks at him for a moment and then opens his book, all the while thinking whether Ant will ever draw a sketch for him.

The rehearsal hall was in chaos when Ant and Dec entered, the commotion caused by the two people in the centre of the room.

Ant walks to them and stands between the two men arguing with each other

Ant: "Hai Gino... and Hai John"

Gino: "You told me to train you. Why is he here?"

John: "Oh hai Anthony.... I am here because Robbie asked me to"

Gino: "You are not needed... I am here"

John: "Who...cares????" He sings much to Gino's annoyance

Johnny: "Guys please, it was a mistake. But both of you can do this together right?"

John and Gino: "No!!"

Ant: "Please..."

Gino: "I told you-"

Dec: "Actually... Eh... actually we were in deep confusion on whom to call. And we sort of decided to call you both so that we can understand who is better so that we call them next time... "
