His eyes then find the same object on the study table and he frowns noticing how inviting it seems-  a metallic paper cutter

Dec turns his head away from that sharp object and just cuddles more to Ant...

It was midnight when Dec woke up cold and shivering.  Ant wasn't holding him and he looks around to see Ant standing beside the table.

Dec: "Anth..what-".

Anth: " I know your secret..."

Dec's heart stammers in his chest "What?"

Ant takes the paper cutter knife and looks at Dec with contempt

Dec: "Anth..."

Ant: "I was a fool to call you my friend...wasn't I..."

Dec felt air choking him "Anth...what.."

He sees blood on the knife and his eyes widen. Shakingly he raises his arm and sees a fresh cut on his wrist, blood pouring out in rage, non stop...he feels his eyes blacking out.

Dec: "Anth.   Help me..."

Ant: "Help you? You don't deserve that..you disgust me, Declan... I was trying hard to be friends with you out of pity... but now, knowing the real, selfish, coward you are, I don't want to do anything with you...I hate you"

Ant slowly walks to Dec and throws the knife at him

Ant: "Useless..Disgusting..Coward.."

Dec: "No..Anth..don't leave...don't leave..."

Ant: "Useless.   Disgusting.  coward... "

Dec feels something hitting cheek and he cries out loud, trying to wriggle away from whatever it was, but hands are around him, holding him and shaking him furiously.  The next moment, Dec opens his eyes to see Ant holding him down, his one hand on his shoulder and the other patting his cheeks, the hazel eyes staring at him in concern and worry

Ant: "Jeez Declan! It was just a dream..a dream Declan...calm down..."

Tears erupt from Dec as he sits up and suddenly he hugs Ant tightly, pulling hard on Ant's T-shirt and clawing his chest, his thick sobs muffled by Ant's chest.

Ant caresses his hair and neck and back and slowly rocks them back and forth. Dec only claws him harder and Ant winces silently as Dec's nails dug into his skin

Dec: "Don't leave me" he murmurs

Ant: "I told you I won't" he looks onto his chest with disbelief.

Dec: "Whatever happens?"

Ant frowns at that "Whatever happens...you alright?"

Dec nods slowly but doesn't loosen the hold. Seeing the state Dec was in, Ant didn't feel like asking him to do so too.

Ant: "You want to talk about it?"

Dec: "Just...a silly nightmare" Ant shouldn't know..

Ant sighs: "Did something happen from Si's house? Did someone say something to you?"

Dec flinches at that as the dream resurfaces in his mind..... and so does Ant's hatred filled eyes

Dec: "Nothing...just..."

Ant: "Is it Fuller? You worried about him?"

Dec: "I think so... Anth...please don't leave me..."
