We are NOT friends

Ant drives them to the hostel and Dec goes straight to the bed without minding his dress and shoes and lie on his back, closing his eyes. Ant sighs at that and takes off his own shirt and jacket to put on a comfy T-shirt and takes Dec's bag from where it was on the floor and puts it on his table. He then moves to Dec's bed and after checking whether he is asleep or not, starts taking off his shoes and socks. As he stands up and moves to unbutton Dec's jacket, he sees Dec's blue-green eyes boring into him. Surprise was written all over his face

Dec: "What are you doing?"

Ant: "What does it seem like?"

Dec: "You are stripping me?"

Ant: "Shut up. I just took off your shoes and socks and was about to take off your jacket"

Dec: "Well... stripping"

Ant: "Undressing"

Dec: "Yeah same"

Ant: "You know what? do it yourself. Serves you right"

Dec giggle at that and gives him his cheeky smile "Thank you Anth.. for what all you did for me today"

Ant: "I did nothing. And don't worry. Piers and his scums won't get away this time"

Dec: "They will for sure come for me"

Ant: "Let them. I know what to do with them"

Dec: "You won't fight against them for me, will you?"

Ant: "For you or anyone else... I will always be happy to fight against them"

Dec: "Oh my Spartan"

Ant: "Seriously? of all the references that's what you came up with?"

Dec shrugs and a smile tugs Ant's lips

Ant: "You are a lost cause"

Dec: "For Spaartaaa!!!"

Ant: "Shut up man and get some rest. I will wake you up for lunch. And then we talk"

Dec: "What about?"

Ant: "Buying Mary a cake"

Dec: "Alright"

Ant: "And you deciding to roam around alone today"

Dec: "About that, I actually forgot"

Ant: "You forgot?!"

Dec: "Yeah. You asked me to get ready for college and I did. I didn't really think I would be alone "

Ant shakes his head in disbelief "You are -"

Dec: "I know" He takes off his jacket and chucks it at Ant who catches it frowning "Call me later and seriously Anth...thank you for looking after me... I am not worried as long as you are there with me"

Ant frown at that and Dec clarifies: "Against them. You are there with me against them"

Ant nod at him and after putting Dec's jacket on the chair, he takes a book from his bag and starts doing his works

Dec: "Aren't you going back?"

Ant: "And leave you here? no, thank you. One drama per day is enough"

Dec: "Drama?"

Ant turns to him "Why do you care!" he mimics in Dec's high pitched voice and Dec looks at him gobsmacked
