I sat down in a ball on the sofa and started to cry. Every time I felt like Draco and I made some progress I messed it up. Every time he went back to the hurt and broken boy that I saw that day hunched over the sink. It wasn't loud crying, it was completely silent. Living with the Dursley's made that very possible. Tears ran down my face. The Weasley's worn-out sofa hugged me.

I heard Mrs Weasley call out that "dinner" was ready. I quickly dried my eyes and took a few shaky deep breaths. I walked into the kitchen and sat down, trying not to let my feelings been seen by the Weasley family. Ron came in from outside, he looked as white as a sheet and his eyes were red and puffy. Had he also been crying?

Every time there was a creek I looked up the stairs in hopes that it was Draco, but every time it wasn't. Ginny came downstairs chewing her lip, clearly still worried about the letter. Mr and Mrs Weasley walked in, they were dressed in formal attire.

"Your father and I are going out for a meal together, I've made dinner and we will be back by midnight" molly said looking at Ginny and Ron.

"Yes mum, have a great time" Ginny said.

Molly and Arthur left. Fred and George came rushing down the stairs just as Mr and Mrs Weasley had walked out of the door.

"Have they gone on their date night?" George Asked. Ginny nodded. The twins sat down,

"Merlin, what's wrong with you lot?" Fred asked.

"Nothing," I said forcing a smile.

"I'm fine" Ginny said not looking at the twins. Ron remained silent.

"Ron, cat got ya tongue?" George said as he placed some pasta on his plate.

"Just shut up the both of you!" Ron said slamming the table. It made Ginny jump out of her skin.

Ron got up suddenly and walked out the door. It slammed behind him.

"Jesus whats got into him?" the twins said in unison. I shrugged my shoulders and started to eat.

"Where's Draco?" Fred asked,

"Should we leave him a plate?" George asked immediately after.

"Don't bother!" I said a little more aggressively than I had meant to.

"Sorry" I said looking down in shame. We ate our dinner in absolute silence.

When we had all finished we washed up and put our own plates away, as we couldn't use magic outside of school. I went and sat on the sofa again. The twins had already gone up to bed. Ginny was walking upstairs when she spotted me.

"Are you not coming to bed Harry?" She asked.

"No I think I'm going to sleep down here if that's alright" I replied.

"Yeah that's fine Harry, goodnight" she said as she walked up the stairs.

"Goodnight Ginny"

I didn't cry I just looked at the wall with my lip quivering. I loved Draco, I hated seeing him hurt. Every part of me wanted to walk up those stairs and wrap my arms around Draco but he explicitly told me he wanted to be alone. Part of me was proud that Draco was able to verbalise his emotions as that is something he struggles with. I couldn't fall asleep. I wanted to but images of Draco hurting himself filled his mind.

How I was I so blind? He stopped harming himself physically and just moved the control to another aspect of his life, eating. I just laid there completely still, until after a while I heard molly and Arthur come back. I immediately snapped my eyes shut and pretended to be asleep.

"What's Harry doing down here?" Molly whispered to her husband.

"No idea, maybe he got into an argument with Ron?" Arthur replied, "Or Draco."

I flinched when he said Draco's name. Mrs Weasley came and put a blanket on top of me.

"Don't embarrass him in the morning" Molly said to Arthur.

"I won't," he said as they walked up the stairs. It was a long night, around about midnight the moonlight shone into the room, I then started to cry, it remained me so much of him, his hair, his skin.

The sun started to glimmer through the wonky window. Ginny came down the stairs.

"Harry are you awake?" She asked.

"Yeah" I said sitting up. My neck ached from laying on the sofa all night.

"Harry you look awful" she said.

"Thanks" I said as I slid my glasses on.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"7 o'clock" Ginny replied.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked standing up.

"Pansy replied, I wanted you to open it" she said handing me the envelope.

I opened it slowly and looked it over. She hadn't written much.

"What does it say?" Ginny asked as worry filled her eyes. I read the letter aloud:

Dear Ginny,

Thank you for your reply. I would appreciate it if you told nobody of my feelings towards you. I would like to remain your friend but I need some time before we jump back in as nothing has happened.

From Pansy

"Okay, that's alright, isn't it?" Ginny Asked taking the letter back."

"Yeah it's really good actually, she's being quite mature" I said, "Ginny can we talk later? I really need to go and splash my face with some water" I started to walk up the stairs.

"Sure Harry, take as long as you need" she replied. I smiled at her in thanks.

I walked up the stairs and to the bathroom, my head was pounding. I looked at the mirror. Ginny was right, I looked awful. My hair was greasy and I had huge red bags under my eyes. I took my clothes off and threw them on the floor. I stepped into the shower, drew the curtain closed and sat down. I let the water run over me.

Suddenly I heard the door swing open,

"hey!"

I said as I poked my head out of the shower. It was Ron he was hunched over the toilet violently throwing up. He was extremely pale, apart from his knuckles which were a dull shade of red.

"Ron are you alright?" I asked frantically as I wrapped a towel around me.

Ron stopped throwing up and slumped himself against the wall. He shook his head.

"Are you ill?" I asked running cold water over a flannel and giving it to him to place on his forehead. He shook his head.

"Bloody hell Ron, tell me what the problem is" I said pleading with him. He just shook his head more vigorously.
