I walked out of McGonagall's office and lent against the wall outside. I let my head flop back. The emotions rushed over me.
What a day. I was happy that McGonagall knew everything, but I was worried about Crabbe and Goyle. They had remained relatively quiet after the second incident, but this might be the spark to relight the fire.
I couldn't deal with that.
But most importantly I was worried about Draco. His family put him through absolute hell his entire life, and when he finally broke free and was kicked out, they still manage to get to him. To hurt him. To play pointless mind games with him.
I didn't know why Draco wanted to see his family. I had no desire to see the Dursley's, in fact, I'd be happy to never see them again. But I guess I'm not Draco.
I sighed as I remembered what I had said to Hermione and Ron. They didn't know what had happened, they had no idea about what had gone on.
I trudged back to the Gryffindor common room.
Dean, Seamus, Neville, Hermione and Ron were sitting on the sofas by the fireplace, the ones we normally sat at.
I walked over and everyone went quiet.
"Could I please talk to you guys for a second?" I asked looking at Ron and Hermione.
"Sure Harry," Hermione said getting up and giving a small smile. Ron followed.
We went outside into the corridor. I shifted my weight from side to side.
"It was really shitty of me to shout at you guys like that" I blurted out,
"I apologise, things are just happening with Draco and it felt like my entire world was collapsing. That's not an excuse or anything" I said backpedalling, "just an explanation" I finished hanging my head in shame.
"I understand Harry," Hermione said.
"Yeah, I didn't realise something had gone on," Ron said comfortingly.
"I was being stupid, how were you guys meant to have known?" I said quickly wiping my eyes to prevent any tears from falling down my cheek.
"Harry was is going on?" Hermione asked.
I explained to them about the letter and what we had told Lupin, and what Sirius was doing right now.
"Wow, so all of this is happening currently?" Ron asked.
"Yes," I confirmed.
"I'm sorry again," I said guilt filling my eyes and falling down my face.
"Harry don't beat yourself up about its, you have helped me and Ron through so much, no wonder you snapped," Hermione said embracing me.
"Mate it's all in the past now," Ron said patting me on the back.
We all walked back over to the sofas. Dean saw that I had been crying and got up, without saying a word to hug me. I hugged back. Dean was a good friend, I didn't nearly give him enough credit.
I tried to be happy again while everyone went back to chatting.
Everyone went off to lunch, I told them I needed to see Draco.
I walked to the Slytherin common room alone. I reached the entranceway and muttered the password.
Inside no one was there apart from Pansy, Blaise and Draco. They were sat on a leather, emerald green sofa. Draco was sat in the middle of it, Blaise sat next to him with his arm around him and Pansy sat on the arm of the chair.
Draco noticed, rushed towards me and embraced me. I stroked his back with my hand. He stroked my hair.
He released from the hug, but still had his hands on my shoulders.
He had red bags under his eyes, he started to well up.
"I love you Potter" he choked.
"I love you too," I said getting emotional myself.
"Ugh, I need to stop," he said whipping his tears away and chuckling.
"Draco, me and Pansy are going to head to lunch, do you and Harry wanna come?" Blaise asked.
"I kinda wanna skip lunch today, if that's alright with you?" He said asking me.
"That's fine" I replied.
Pansy and Blaise walked out leavening Draco and I cuddling on the sofa.
