Seamus sat down opposite with Dean sitting next to him.

"What was up with Snape?" Seamus said clearly shocked by the events that had previously unfolded.

"I don't know really, I think he just snapped" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"I'll tell you what's up with him, he's an insufferable cruel excuse for a man, with a personal vendetta against anyone who doesn't cower at his feet!" Draco said clearly still a little heated from earlier.

"Alright, alright" I said patting Draco's shoulder. Dean looked around before leaning in.

"Any word on Hermione or Ron?" He said in a quiet whisper. I shook my head.

"Myrtle will come at tell us if there's a problem though" I replied in the same volume.

I group of girls further down the Gryfinndor table caught my attention with their high pitched giggles. I turned to look at them, it became apparent that I was the cause of their laughter.

"What's up with those girls? Why are they giggling at me?" I asked the boys.

"Umm, it could be the cluster of purple marks across your neck" Dean suggested.

I immediately placed my hand on my neck to try and cover the marks.

"That's not going to help, your hands not big enough" Seamus remarked. I could see a large smile forming on Draco's face. He was loving it.

"I completely forgot" I said through gritted teeth. "I didn't" Draco replied charismatically. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Ugh this is so embarrassing" I said as I could feel my cheeks becoming warmer.

"No it's not, it's hot" Draco said removing my hand from my neck.

"Yeah for you" I replied. In an attempt to cover them I tugged at my collar with little results.

"Don't hide them, be proud of them" Draco said brushing his finger across them.

"Proud?" I asked.

"Yeah proud, you've managed to pull the great Draco Malfoy" he said with a cocky smile.

Dean and Seamus chucked at his comment.

"Come on guys you're meant to be on my side" I said a bit deflated.

"Harry they look fine, good even" Dean said.

"See they agree" Draco said gesturing towards the pair. I rolled my eyes but he had made me feel more comfortable.

Draco had a way of doing that, creating a sense of total calmness. Like a cool wave on a hazy day, or a spot of shade in the scorching sun. When I'm with him the whole world turns down and a spotlight shines upon us. For so long I yearned for that light, for just a flicker of it. Now, I have it in abundance. However there's never a time when I'm not grateful, not aware of the light he brings me. It fills me up from head to toe and I carry it around with me all day. I will always forever be in dept to him, a dept I will never, truly, be able to repay.

A loud shriek filled the air. Myrtle was floating at the doorway of the great hall. She just gave a worried stare and flew off briskly.

"Fuck" I proclaimed.

"What's wrong?" Seamus asked as we all stood up. "Hermione" Draco muttered regretfully. On that note we began to rush out of her hall. A few people murmured at our departure but the ruckus was kept to a minimum due to the frequency of Myrtle's outbursts.

Dean pushed the door of Hermione's room open to reveal a frantic woman. She was throwing items around and scattering books onto the floor. She stopped momentarily to glance at where we were standing.

"YOU!" She bellowed before launching herself at me and pinning me against the wall. The others were attempting to rip her off of me but she seemed to have acquired some sort of superhuman strength. Her hands tightened around my neck.

"WHERE ARE THEY! I NEED THEM!" She shouted through animalistic grunts of annoyance and pure aggression.

Eventually they grabbed her from me. I felt the room spin and I staggered back, leaning on the wall for support. Whilst Dean and Seamus held Hermione down Draco noticed me struggling.

"Just take deep breaths Potter, in and out" he said with a hint of fear in his voice. I held his hand tighter as I hyperventilated.

"Fucking hell!" Dean said in desperation.

"We need to get them both to the hospital wing NOW!" Draco shouted his voice broke slightly. It was the last thing I heard before the already darkening room turned black.
