I was dropping in and out of consciousness but I felt myself being picked up and thrown over a shoulder.

"12 GRIMMAULD PLACE!"

The voice bellowed.

I was then placed gently on a sofa. I opened my eyes and saw three blurred people. The tallest of the blurs started to heal me. I tried to speak but I couldn't clear my throat.

"Vulnera Sanentur"

The voice muttered, and then,

"Ferula"

A small bottle of purple liquid was brought to my lips. I obliged and took a large sip of the potion.

It wasn't long before I was overwhelmed with the feeling of tiredness and fell into a deep sleep.

When I woke I was in bed, but it wasn't my own.

I tried to get up but I was trapped under an arm. I moved the pillow and Draco's head was revealed. I looked around the room and realised that I was at Sirius' house. Lupin must have known that Draco and I would have gone to Malfoy Manor.

It was most likely him and Sirius that saved me.

I could remember everything, you hear about people getting badly injured and forgetting about all events leading up to it, well not me. I remember it as clear as day. It was Lucius that attacked me. It was him that cast the spell.

I gently moved Draco's arm off me and went to the mirror to look at my injuries. I unwrapped the bandages across my torso. I had a large gash from my left collar bone, down my chest and ending just before my belly button. It was a bright shade of red but Remus had done a good job of patching me up.

I didn't want to think of all of the times he must have done this before.

I grabbed my wand from the bedside table,

"Ferula," I said causing fresh bandages to swirl around my torso.

There was a knock at the door.

Draco has slept in his clothes and I was still wearing trousers so I said,

"Come in"

Lupin walked in cautiously.

"When Draco's up I'm taking you boys back to school with me. You'll be back in time for breakfast" he said in a low tone. He placed clean and ironed sets of uniform on the dresser.

I nodded.

"Oh and Sirius wanted to tell me to tell you goodbye, he's not a morning person," Remus said before nodding and carefully closing the door.

I walked over to Draco, still a bit tender, and ruffled his hair.

"Mmm?" he mumbled.

"We need to get up and get back to school" I instructed.

He sluggishly got out of bed and walked over to where Lupin had laid the folded uniform.

I turned my attention to the rest of the room, I was looking. I had lost something in the heat of last night.

I wandered over to the other side of the bed, where I found it. Draco's coat he had lent me. It looked expensive, the scarlet lining was an all too real fortune teller.

"I'm sorry about your coat," I said holding the ripped and stained piece of clothing up.

"Don't worry about it" Draco said humbly.

Draco's back turned away from me. He was hunched over. His long, skinny, shaking, fingers struggled to do up the buttons of his shirt.

I moved towards him to help, but when I got closer, it was clear that he was much more in desperate need of a different type of help.

I cupped his chin in my hand and delicately guided it upwards so his eyes met mine.

"This isn't your fault," I said Firmly yet comfortingly.

Draco tipped his head back slightly as if to hold he tears in his eyes and shook his head, disagreeing with me.

"Please Draco" I pleaded, grabbing his arm, "I can't have you like this"

Draco sharply inhaled and brought his head back to a normal position. He looked at me stoically,

"I'm trying" he choked, attempting to sound as unaffected as possible.

I let him finish getting dressed, turning my attention to my own uniform.

Lupin was standing in a tweed suit in the living room doorway.

"Come on boys," he said gesturing for us to come in.

Each of us grabbed a handful of floo and made it to Hogsmeade.

"How's Angius holding up Draco?" Lupin asked on the walk back to Hogwarts.

"Pretty unaffected" Draco replied.

We walked in complete silence until we reached the grand entranceway of Hogwarts. All three of us went off to our respective sleeping quarters.

Gryffindor was deadly quiet at this time in the morning. The sun hasn't even properly risen yet.

I walked into my dorm room, avoiding the creaky floorboards, I made it to my bed, and slithered in. Wearing my shirt, tie and all. It was just too irresistible.
