We sat and talked, I didn't listen, I only had one thing on my mind.

Him.

He lent over and put his mouth to my ear,

"Let's go" he whispered.

His breath against my skin tickled.

He grabbed my hand and dragged me out into the corridor. No one seemed to notice, it was evening and the sun was setting.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I followed after him.

He turned around and smiled,

"Quidditch pitch" he replied.

It was probably the smartest decision, no teams were practising, we wouldn't be disturbed.

***

I stopped at the changing rooms but he walked on,

"No, on the actual pitch" he confirmed.

We walked out to the middle of the arena, it was huge, the sheer greatness of it wasn't really appreciated when you were in the air, but down here it was staggering.

He wrestled me to the ground, I fought back, both of us laughing.

He was on top of me with his hands pinning down my arms, he leant down and kissed me. He had his legs either side of my torso, sitting up he ripped his tie off and wrapped it around my wrists.

He then flipped me onto my stomach, my face against the grass. My hands were above my head, tied together. He took off my trousers and then undid his own, he licked the back of my neck.

I moaned.

He chuckled,

"You need me, Potter," he said boastfully.

"I need you" I whispered.

***

When it was over I chucked his tie at him and rolled over onto my back.

I looked at the stars, it reminded me of a comment Draco had made about them once.

He found my hand in the dark and held it with his own, butterflies filled my stomach, the kind you get when your crush makes eye contact with you.

"I could stay like this forever you know," I said sleepily.

"Forever?" He asked.

"Forever" I confirmed.

***

A little while later Draco offered his hand and hoisted me up. We walked back to the castle in the dark, trying not to fall over.

He kissed me gently on the head before we went to our separate houses.

I made it back to my bed without disturbing anyone, or anything.

***

"Wake up you idiot" I heard before a pillow was thrown in my face.

"Charming," I said opening my eyes to see that Ron was the culprit.

I forced myself out of bed and went for a shower when I got back I found my clothes laid out neatly on the bed.

Never take house-elves for granted.

I put on my clothes and walked with Hermione and Ron to breakfast.

Draco was sitting at the Gryffindor table with Neville, who looked petrified.

Draco still had that effect on him.

We went and sat with the pair,

"Alright, guys?" Draco asked,

We all murmured sounds of agreement, Neville looked relieved that it wasn't up to him anymore to hold the conversation.

Ron tucked in, well I say that it was more like he threw himself in, sausages, bacon, toast, the lot. It's lucky he does so much exercise.

Dumbledore stood at the podium and waved his hands, the hall fell silent.

"I hope you are all enjoying your breakfast, but I just have an announcement," he said, everyone listened intently.

I noticed Snape wasn't sat at the teachers' table.

"We are to be joined by The Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and The Durmstrang Institute for an interschool quidditch tournament," he said wisely.

Gasps could be heard across the hall.

"They are due to arrive this evening for a celebratory feast before the competition begins, the tournament will take place across a week with a team from each school playing until just one school is crowned the winner. As we have four quidditch teams, tryouts will be held for a place in the Hogwarts quidditch team. At the end of the week there will be a ball, to celebrate the sportsmanship and honour of the schools" he said before sitting down again.

The hall erupted, everyone was talking about it, who would be on the team, who would people ask to the dance. It was manic.

Draco looked depressed,

"You know what this means, I'll have to sit with Slytherin this evening" he grunted.
