Potter: A Drarry Fan Fiction

Debrief 

I decided to make the very grown-up decision to study in the great hall before dinner, rather than get destructed in Gryffindor.

I walked through the double doors and sat down. I opened a random book and began to read it.

I heard that same muffled laughter.

I glanced in its direction, five Ravenclaw heads snapped back around. Cho shot a look at me.

I gave her a friendly smile and began to pack away my stuff.

I couldn't work in here with her.

I walked out and down the corridor.

"Harry wait" I heard her voice echo.

Part of me just wanted to ignore her and keep walking.

But that would be rude.

I turned around.

"Why did you leave?" She asked.

"I just remembered I had to be somewhere" I lied.

"Oh ok" she said looking a little hurt.

An awkward silence began.

"Do you think I'm pretty?" She asked.

"Uhhh," I said weighing up what was the best answer.

Why in Merlin's name was she asking me!

"Yeah" I eventually stammered.

For a girl.

She leaned forward and before I even realised, or wanted to realise, she had kissed me.

Just quickly, but still a kiss.

I didn't kiss back.

Her lips felt like slugs, and her strawberry lip balm made me what to hurl.

It only confirmed one thing, I liked boys.

"I like you Harry Potter" she whispered.

"Thanks," I said before sprinting off.

I reached the Gryffindor common room out of breath.

Draco, Ron, Seamus, and Dean were sat around the sofas.

"What's happened, mate?" Ron asked.

"I just...just got kissed!" I spluttered.

Draco shot up.

"What the fuck?!" He exclaimed but didn't shout.

"Who?" Seamus asked.

"A girl!" I said in a trance.

There was a pause in the air for just a short moment.

"Oh Merlin's beard, was it horrible?" Draco said coming over to hug me.

"Yeah, yeah it was," I said traumatised.

Seamus and Dean got up as well for a big group hug.

"I don't get it, what's so bad about kissing a girl," Ron asked still sitting at the sofa.

We all looked at him and laughed.

"Oh, Ronny boy," Seamus said patting Ron's head.

"You still haven't said who it was," Ron said as we all sat back down.

"Cho," I said

"I knew she was making eyes at you" Draco muttered.

"I didn't really notice till today," I said confused.

"Well you wouldn't would you?" Draco said with a cheeky smile.

"Hey! I am very perceptive" I said crossing my arms.

Everyone erupted with laughter.

"Hey! Hey, just remember who saves your sorry asses like every year" I said, failing to stop myself laughing as well.

"With a huge amount of help from Ron and I," Hermione said waking down the stairs.

"That's a fair comment," I said before chuckling again.

Hermione came and sat down next to Ron. They were never too big fans of public affection but this was big for them. Everyone knew they were together, but they never spoke about them outside of friends.

"What's going on here?" Hermione asked.

"Cho kissed Harry because she has a big crush on him" Seamus blurted out.

"Seriously, she must know you and Draco are together, especially after this morning," she remarked.

I scratched the back of my head.

"I think she did know, it didn't seem to bother her," I said reliving the embarrassment.

"What a bitch!" Draco exclaimed.

"No no I don't think it was like that, it wasn't malicious or seductive, it was like she felt it was her only chance," I said feeling a bit sorry for the girl.

"Goddam right it was her only chance," Draco said putting his arm around me and hugging me towards himself.

"How are we going to make her stop liking Harry?" Dean asked.

"If snogging boys isn't enough, what is?" Draco said in a sarcastic tone.

"I think I have an idea," Hermione said as she got up and rushed off.

"Where are you going?" Ron shouted after her.

"Cedric!" She said leaving.

"What's Cedric got to do with anything?" Seamus asked.
