I walked into the boys' section, as soon as I did the sound of running water could be heard. His clothes were screwed up and thrown onto the floor. He was practically begging me.
Unlike him, however, I had boundaries. People were due to come back within thirty minutes. It was almost inevitable we were going to get caught. It's like he didn't care. But I did, it's embarrassing, not him, not us. But the act, it's something for a private setting, between two people that trust each other.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude, but I do have some dignity, and I'd like to keep a hold of it.
I got into the shower next to him,
"Oh, you bastard" he joked.
I smiled to myself, it was kinda fun. I now know why girls play hard to get.
Maybe that's what Draco was doing, by not asking me out to the dance. That or he didn't like be me and I'd made the whole thing up in my head. I loved him, I knew this. What if I was only a shag to him? What if I have fallen further than he has?
I heard him get out of the shower,
"Your loss" he called out before he walked off.
I rolled my eyes.
I moment later I heard the tent door flap again.
I peeked through the shower curtain and saw yellow, Cedric.
He got into the shower Draco was preciously in.
I wondered what Madam Hooch had spoken to him about. I hope he wasn't upset or anything.
I liked Cedric, not in that way. In a way where you want to be their friend. He was kind and nice, not to mention nearly every person with a heartbeat fancied him.
I wondered if I should get out the shower, I didn't want to be awkward. I always have to over thing stupid things like this.
I wrapped a towel around my waist and with a deep breath in, I walked out. I looked through my clothes for my wand to dry myself. As I was I heard Cedric's shower stop.
Damn and blast.
I couldn't walk out now that would be so suspicious. I also couldn't linger, he'd think I was a weirdo.
"Hi," he said casually.
"Hey," I said pulling my quidditch jumper over my bare abdomen. It wasn't smelly because we literally played for less than an hour.
"Good work out there," he said picking up his own wand and drying himself.
"Thanks, you too" I mumbled.
He put his jumper on and as he was about to walk out I asked,
"If you don't mind me asking, why did Madam Hooch speak to you?" I said cautiously.
"I shouldn't really say until dinner" he began stepping closer and lowering his voice.
"But she wants me on the team as a chaser" he finished.
"Oh cool, I'm glad," I said.
"Thanks," he said, smiling. He then walked out.
I came out a few seconds later. I went to my bag and put some pants and trousers on under my towel. Draco was finished so he just sat watching me.
I glanced at Cedric quickly, Draco saw and smirked.
"Hey Cedric," Draco said.
"Yeah," Cedric said rummaging through his bag.
Fear filled me from head to toe. What was Draco playing at?
"Good skill out there today," he said smiling at my sheer panic.
"Thanks, you too" he replied.
I shoved everything into my bag and walked out. Draco followed after.
"Hey, hey I was just playing in there," Draco said patting my shoulder.
"It wasn't very funny" I replied in a bit of a sulk.
"Merlin's beard, I didn't realise you'd turned into a fun sponge" he joked.
In another situation, I would have laughed, but it felt hard to.
"Sorry" I murmured.
"Don't worry about it, we all have those days" he said putting his arm around my shoulders.
I got back to Gryfinndor with Draco, we threw our stuff into a random corner and sat on a sofa. I rested my head on his lap, facing his stomach.
"You looked so good out there today," he said stroking my head.
"Thanks" I mumbled into his tummy.
"You don't think so?" He asked.
I shrugged my shoulders.
I turned so I was now facing the ceiling.
"Do you love me still?" I blurted out.
He chucked,
"Is that what's been on your mind?" He asked.
I nodded sheepishly.
"Why you silly boy? I love you to the moon and back" he replied leaning down and kissing me on the forehead.
I smiled,
"I don't know, I guess I was being silly," I said reflecting on the situation.
Maybe he wasn't going to ask me to the dance, but maybe that wasn't important to him. Maybe I'd blown this way out of proportion.
"I'm sorry for messing with you" he murmured.
"That's okay, you don't mind me looking at Cedric?" I asked.
"Looking is fine, it's a free country. Quite frankly I'd be concerned if you didn't look" he said with a smile.
"Alright," I said closing my eyes.
