The pass is that if a chaser is surrounded by those on the opposite team, the other chasers will create space, ready for the quaffle. The beaters will mark the other beaters and I will suddenly dive. This will create a significant distraction for the chaser to pass the ball to another chaser who is free.
"I like this pass, this is more something the Hufflepuff team would come up with," Cedric remarked.
"Yeah and that's why we always smoke you in the house cup" Fred commented playfully.
Cedric laughed.

Our time was up and we were all walking off. The Durmstrang team was walking on.
Cedric and that boy he had chemistry with earlier made eye contact. Cedric smiled and the boy winked. The boy was definitely in Cedric's league, something that was probably rare for someone like him.
They passed each other and then looked back. I saw it and the twins saw it, but no one else seemed to notice; maybe they didn't want to.

I walked back to the Gryfinndor common room where I found Ron."Do you know where Draco is?" I asked sitting down next to him.
"He's helping that Tim boy get a guy for the dance" he replied.
I looked around, the room was empty,
"Ron where is everyone?" I asked with increasing worry.
"Gone, left" he grumbled.
"What do you mean?" I asked, not really getting an answer to the first question.
"Well Hermione's probably with Krum," he said with a high voice.
"Why would she be with Krum?" I asked, feeling like I would have to get a bit more interrogative.
His head slumped onto the back of the sofa, he looked at the ceiling, took a deep breath in, and turned his head towards me.
"She looked at him, I saw it in her face" he mumbled, tears filled his eyes.
I stayed silent.
"She used to look at me like that-" he said, his voice breaking.
"-with that admiration and pride, like you were the best thing in the room" his voice got heavy.
"Has anything happened between them?" I asked cautiously.
"She says no, and I believe her, but that doesn't mean it won't," he said choking back the tears now.
"I just want her to love me as much as I love her," he said, the first tear finally broke free.
I threw my arms around Ron in a bear hug, his heart was going at a thousand beats a minute.
"I will sort this" I whispered.
"I hope you're right" he murmured back.

After comforting Ron for about an hour I rushed over to Slytherin for Draco's help.
I stood at the door, realising I didn't know the password.
As if on cue Pansy walked around the corner.
"You look like a whiny little dog Potter," she remarked coldly.
"Nice to see you too Pansy" I replied with the same cynicism.
"First years in blankets" she murmured, the door swung open.
"Who came up with that?" I asked.
She shrugged her shoulders and walked in, I followed.
Draco was sat on the emerald sofas with Tim and Blaise.
Draco's head fell back to see that I had just walked in.
"Oh Potter, do come and sit down," Draco said as he patted the sofa next to him.
I sat down, wondering when to bring up Ron and Hermione.
"How was quidditch?" He asked as he snuggled into me.
"Good actually" I replied.
"Is that a surprise?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"With Wood and Flint as co-captains, yes" I chuckled.
"I suppose you're right" he replied warmly.
I turned to the rest of the group,
"So any luck with finding you a boy Timothèe?" I asked.
"I do not want to say it, but I am beginning to fear I have asked of the impossible," he said with exasperation.
"We will find you a guy," Blaise said reassuringly.
"No we won't, not ever," Timothee said being slightly dramatic.
"Not with that attitude!" Draco proclaimed.
I was sat with my legs crossed on the sofa and Draco had wrapped his arms and legs around me from behind.
I felt at home in his arms.
***
We mulled over possible boyfriends before I couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Ron and Hermione are about to break up" I blurted out.
Blaise gasped and Draco fell to the floor.
I clapped my hands to my mouth as soon as I had said it.
"Is this the couple with the boy with the, how do you say? Ginger hair and the very smart girl with hair like a lion?" Timothee asked.
"Yes, it is" Blaise whispered, still in shock.
"But what about the dance, the book?! What on earth do you mean?" Draco said after his moment of silence.
"I don't know, it happened while I was at quidditch practice," I said shrugging my shoulders,
"But Ron says that he saw Hermione look at Krum a certain way, they must have had an argument about it, and that's when I joined the story" I explained.
"Merlin's beard," Blaise said shaking his head.
"Is Krum the dashing one from Durmstrang?" Timothee asked.
"Not good timing but yes" Blaise conformed.
"We need someone who has an unbiased view of the altercation," Blaise remarked.
We all murmured sounds of agreement.
"You guys love to forget about the one person that might be our key to solving this" Draco said crossing his arms.
"Who?" I asked.
"Neville bloody Long bottom," he said as if it was obvious.
