The lesson ticked on. Hermione finished the work miles before anyone else and sat looking at her book. Ron stroking his face with his quill, deep in concentration. I noted down some key information from the textbook but I couldn't help but notice Draco's leg tapping up and down. I placed my hand on his thigh. He then noticed what he was doing and stopped.

It was only a short while before I realised Draco was biting at his knuckles. I grabbed his fist, pulled it down and rested it on my knee.

"What's happening?" Draco's whispered before he bit his lip. My heart started to beat faster.

"Withdrawal" I mumbled trying not to show how much control he had over me.

The lesson lasted a life time. I stroked Draco's hand with my thumb. He didn't get any work done as he just stared at his desk blankly. I wasn't sure how I could help him. McGonagall turned around and said we could,

"pack our bags and get to lunch." We all did so. I could see Draco's hands shaking as he placed his books in his bag.

When we walked out we were met in the corridor by Ron and Hermione, who had waited for us.

"Alright Harry?" Ron said patting my back. I nodded and smiled.

"Ready for the quidditch match this weekend?" He asked eagerly.

"Yeah I really think we've improved these last few practices" I said hopefully.

"Ugh do you boys ever stop talking about quidditch" Hermione moaned but gave us a small smile. Draco laughed at Hermione's comment and she smiled at Draco. I was glad that everyone was getting along.

As we walked into the great hall we were met with the usual stares and whispers. All four of us sat down together. Ron of course immediately tucked into the sandwiches laid out in front of him. Hermione looked at Draco and said,

"I'm glad you're happy with Harry." Draco held my hand before saying,

"thank you, and thank you both for being so kind to me." Ron nodded and Hermione smiled before she plonked a heavy and extremely old looking book onto the table.

I chuckled slightly and began to eat. It wasn't long before I realised Draco hadn't touched a thing.

"Draco, what's wrong?" I said looking at him sympathetically. I shuffled before mumbling that he wasn't hungry. He fiddled with the silver lion on his walking stick. I decided not to bother him anymore.

We completed our lessons for the day and the sun was being to set. Everyone was staring to go to bed. I was sat in the Gryfinndor common room with Ron. We were both trying to revise but I couldn't help but think of Draco, and what he was doing in Slytherin at this very moment.

Eventually I marched up to bed and Ron followed shortly after. I slipped off my uniform and hopped into bed. As soon as Ron's head hit the pillow he began to snore. I smiled and slowly closed my eyes.

"Potter.....potter!" I heard someone hiss.

"What?" I said without opening my eyes.

"Can I get in?" The voice whispered. My eyes opened and I was met with Draco, who was wearing grey tartan trousers and a Slytherin jumper.

"Of course" I said suspecting that Draco was struggling to sleep. He gently got into my bed. His body was pressed against me so I could feel him shaking.

"Calm down" I whispered as I stroked his hair.

"I'm trying" Draco mumbled. I felt helpless, I had absolutely no idea what to do in a situation like this, was there a spell or would we just have to wait it out? I clutched Draco's hand. He squeezed mine like he was scared of being pulled away. I turned to place my arm across Draco's chest. I could feel his heart beating. It was going at a hundred miles an hour.

Without any other option presenting itself I had no choice. I sat up and kissed Draco passionately. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and kissed back. We stayed like this for a minute or so before I lied back down. Draco was facing me as we were both laying on our sides.

I reached my hand out of the covers and gently stroked Draco's eyebrow. He closed his eyes and smiled. He had stopped shaking.
