I woke to a gentle rubbing of my shoulder,
"Wake up, its time for dinner" the voice whispered.
I opened my eyes to see Draco looking down at me.
"Did I fall asleep?" I said sitting up.
"Yeah," Draco said using his hands to get up. He hobbled around in a circle.
He looked at my confused face.
"My legs are dead," he said pretending to be annoyed with me.
I felt warm inside, he didn't move his legs for an hour so that I wouldn't be distributed.
"How do I look?" I asked running my fingers through my hair.
"Fine, I won't lie, not your best ever," he said honestly.
"Help me" I pleaded dropping my hands by my side.
He walked up to me and sorted out my hair, took my glasses off and rubbed my eyebrows. He then placed them nicely back onto my face.
"You know there's probably a spell that can fix your eyesight," Draco said pulling at my jumper.
"Yeah, but it's risky, Madam Pomfrey won't even do it, and I don't mind my glasses," I said.
"Neither do I," he said as he stood up straight.
We walked to the great hall together.
We sat down with our group. There wasn't any food on the tables yet. The teachers were waking around, McGonagall spotted Draco and gave him a look.
"Bye guys" he whispered as he got up to sit at the Slytherin table.
If you were on a quidditch team you had to wear your jumpers, however, if you weren't, you had to be in strict uniform, cloaks and all.
Two extra tables had been placed at both ends of the hall.
Dumbledore walked to the podium,
"Good evening all, I would like to thank every student for being so accepting of the changes we have had to make today. But without further ado, I would like to welcome Olympe Maxime and the students of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic" he said starting his speech.
The headmistress walked in first with the seven members of their quidditch team behind her in a triangle formation. Behind them were neat rows of Beauxbaton students that had come to support their team.
The quidditch team walked to the front with Madam Maxime, the rest sat down at the table closest to Slytherin.
"And the students of Durmstrang institute of magic, with their headmaster, Igor Karkaroff" Dumbledore announced.
The headmaster walked in with a line of seven marching students behind him, like Beauxbatons, they had brought other students to support them.
Dean and Seamus were eagerly looking at the teams to see if their predictions were correct.
"And now I would like to call our very own quidditch team to the front," he said gesturing.
"Our Seeker, Harry Potter of Gryfinndor"
I walked to the front, the hall clapped, so did the Beauxbatons students but only Viktor Krum clapped from Durmstrang.
"Our Keeper, Oliver Wood of Gryfinndor"
Wood walked up and stood next to me, again claps followed.
"Our Beaters, Fred and George Weasley of Gryfinndor, and our Chasers, Marcus Flint of Slytherin, Samuel Chambers of Ravenclaw, and Cedric Digory of Hufflepuff"
All three schools' teams stood at the front.
Wood looked glad to have a majority Gryfinndor team.
"I would like to thank our neighbouring schools and invite them to join us for a feast," he said waving his arms to reveal the food that had appeared on the tables.
We all sat down at our assigned tables. the Durmstrang table was next to the Hufflepuff table, I don't know how they thought those two groups would have anything in common, but you never know.
Dumbledore sat down and everyone started eating. Draco and I sat at our tables in a way that we could still face each other at least.
He was leaning back and talking to a Beauxbaton girl, I couldn't hear what they were saying though.
She leaned in closer and said something, Draco smirked, said something, and pointed to me.
The girl instantly retreated and by her blushing face, presumably apologised.
Blaise patted him on the back and laughed.
I saw Hermione glance at Krum, he was a little famous in the wizarding world. He wanted to compete in the tri wizard tournament next year and was very open about it. He was also apparently excellent among the ladies.
Ron didn't notice.
I looked down the table, Wood already had a quidditch strategy book in front of him. He and Flint were joint captains. Quite funny actually, they now had to pretend, to pretend, to not hate each other.
Much like me and Draco at the start of our relationship.
Our relationship.
I ate the rest of my dinner and walked with my friends to Gryfinndor.
"Hey!" I heard a voice down the corridor shout.
I turned on my heels.
Draco, and a gaggle of Beauxbaton girls.
"Come on then," Seamus said as we entered through the painting.
All of us sat down apart from Hermione and Ron, they went off with each other somewhere.
We were all just chatting and then Draco turned to a Beauxbaton girl and said something, I don't know what but it carried more weight than anything I'd ever heard before.
"Est-il pas mignon quand il est assis en avant comme ça?" Draco said in French.
My world had shattered,
Could this boy get any more amazing?
My mouth gaped open.
He saw and laughed.
"Il ne savait pas que je parlais français" he said chuckling.
"Et tu le parles très bien" a Beauxbaton girl said.
"Alright Potter?" He said in English.
I just nodded.
Wow.
Just wow.
A paused for a moment to get over my sheer amazement.
I then got up and walked towards Draco, a Beauxbaton girl moved from next to him so I could sit with him.
"I didn't know you spoke French" I stammered.
He shrugged his shoulders,
"I have French relatives, I went skiing in France a lot as a kid," he said pleased with himself.
"So you can speak it fluently?" I asked.
"Oui je peux" he said in French again.
"He said, yes he can" a Beauxbaton girl translated.
"Thanks," I said not looking away from my boy.
He bit his lip trying to hide his smirk.
He loved it, me like this.
Suddenly Hermione and Ron rushed back in. She was clutching a rather new looking 'Hogwarts a history' book.
Ron sat down with the boys, but Hermione came and sat with me, Draco and the Beauxbaton girls. I should probably learn their names, but it's too awkward to ask now.
