Carson
Anna, sam, and I dry off before going inside.
Luke and Ashton stare at me.
I stare back.
"Carson?" Ashton says quietly.
"Ashton?" I mimic.
My hurt quickly turned into rage.
He looks taken aback.
I smirk at them, throwing them a wink before I strut out of the room, Anna and Sam right on my heels.
"Woah Carson. What happened?" Anna asked, obviously confused.
"I'm done with their shit." I spit.
"Your badass is showing." Sam laughed.
I smile. But it was a genuine smile.
Something that I hadn't done in days.
"You guys actually want to swim?" Sam asks.
I shrug, and Anna nods.
We get changed into bathing suits.
Mine is white and green polka dotted, Anna's is white and purple, and Sam's is white and blue.
We run down the steps, laughing and yelling for the others to join us.
One by one, the follow.
Once we reach the docks, we grab hands.
I grab Anna's.
And Calum's.
Glancing down at our intertwined hands, we smile at each other.
And then we all jump in.
