Anyway, now that it's almost a year since the first chapter of emo band text came out, I've got to thinking.
Should I rewrite Emo Band Texts?
I don't mean one of the specific EBTs, I mean the entire series.
I started writing it around May 20th, 2018, and I was like, twelve at the time.
Over the last 11 months, I've progressed as a writer, and there are lots of plot holes I've noticed in Emo Band Texts that I would like to fix, but at the same time, just fix the entire series.
I know this decision should be for me to make, but since you guys are the readers, I'm asking you guys what you would prefer.
Would you prefer I rewrite the entire series, or write a new Emo Band Texts?
If I were to rewrite Emo Band Texts, it would have similar plot, and some of the same chapters from the current series. I would also keep og Emo Band Texts up and available to read until about halfway through the first rewritten book.
If I were to write a new Emo Band Texts, it would be a completely new plot. Same characters, but some similarities, but almost no plot similarities besides maybe character pairings. Although, I would still keep the original EBT up for anyone to read.

I know this series is pretty much over, either to be forgotten, or to be rewritten, so here is everyone that has helped in any shape or form with this series.
Mai, [EMO-niac] was one of the first people to read Emo Band Texts. You know how Frank Iero was such a fan of MCR, that he joined the band? That's basically Mai to EBT. I remember her funny and sarcastic comments would always attract me. I ended up texting her a screenshot of something that said "April 10th" on Instagram a few weeks later and she didn't understand for what I remember as either a couple hours or a couple days. Either way, she's pretty slow. I remember spending my July nights blasting the Air Conditioning in my room while making myself go deaf by blasting my MCR playlist though my headphones, and texting Mai over Instagram DMs. Before she was *officially* a writer for Emo Band Texts, she would write 1000 word chapters over our dms. We later went to a shared google doc, but I personally prefer dms, just because it reminds me of those times. Now Mai basically just ignores me bc she was supposed to write part of a chapter for EBT 0 and she passed the deadline she gave me lmao ,, I was planning to discuss the future of EBT with her but she won't answer my calls/texts ,, she wrote her first chapter [95 of EBT 1 I believe?] on some random night in late June where we stayed up talking about this dumb book. I remember the next chapter she wrote was I THINK 97 on EBT 1 where (Y/N) and Mikey kind of just,, suffered after their recent breakup. She wanted to base Mikey's POV in that chapter completely off of the line "self destruction, hopeless for you" from Boy Division [stream conventional weapons] and after I published the chapter, she texted me "shit I forgot to add that line to the chapter I'm such a dumbass" so we had to unpublished and republish it. For real though, Mai was one of the only people willing to stay up every summer night [and a month worth of school nights before school ended] and I'm extremely grateful that she was a friend who was always there. Now she probably hates me bc in an annoying prick lmao o

KenZ [joshs-nasa-shirt] is literally a lifesaver. In August, Mai was being a thot and basically procrastinated a chapter for her entire vacation in August including an eight hour long plane trip lmao and KenZ was the first person to offer help finishing the chapter. I can't remember what chapter it was or what number chapter it was but I think it was a more major chapter ?? Idk uhh gay. I watched the Dark Knight on her Hulu acc earlier. I remember when we spent all night brainstorming and executing bad chapter ideas and it was the big big big fun™. Goonchie Gangke™.
