"where is the lucky guy anna!" Abby shouted in my ear

"he should be here any minute abbs please don't shout at him like you did me" I said back whilst twisting one of Jemimas rings

I heard the doorbell ring

"that's got to be him and Lydia" I said

I opened the door and he was stood there his hair neatly combed which I did not like so I gave him a look of disgust.

"what?" he chuckled

"your hair! it's all slick and posh I don't like it" I said frowning. he bent down slightly and I ruffled his hair giggling.

"I worn you about my family they are.... unusual" I said taking him round to the yard

"Lydia this is Amelia and tali, Amelia and tali this is Lydia" I introduced them and Amelia took her hand and dragged her to the play house.

"well those two wee my sisters. ooh here's my brother and Lucy my best friend coming now!" I said excitedly

"you must be the carter Anna has been talking about" Shane said embarrassing me

"I would hope I am unless there's another carter I don't know about?" he asked ammused

"shut up goofball' I hit him in the chest

"well we must be going lots of people to see!" I said pushing carter away

"what happened to Lucy?" carter asked

"there was an explosion at NCIS and a shard of glass went through her which made the spine detach it's self. she's paralysed" I said looking down remembering what happened

"oh I'm so sorry I didn't know" he said in defence

"it's okay" I said an he kissed my cheek making me feel a whole lot better.

"are you going to introduce me?" asked Alicia.

"of course! carter this is the birthday girl Alicia" I said

"happy birthday it was a pleasure to meet you" he said poshly

"you too" Alicia walked on

"he's a keeper" she whispered in my ear and I smiled at her

"what did she say?" he asked confused

"stop being so nosy" I chuckled

" well this is Gibbs and Jenny they are my parents bosses and practically grandparents" I said

"hey we arnt that old young lady" Jenny laughed and we walked away

"this is kian he's my best friend" I said and we greeted him now it was my parents

"mom, Dad this is carter" I said

"hello nice to meet you" mom said shaking his hand

"you too" carter replied

"you hurt her your dead you here me?" my dad said protectively

"I wouldn't hurt her. I couldn't do it the pain would be unbearable" carter said aww he was so sweet. my dad smiled then walked away with his arms wrapped around ziva giving her a small kiss on her temple. they were so cute

"well that's all the introductions done" I said sighing in relief

"not quite" I heard a poison voice growl

"jake" I said through gritted teeth

"oh and me!" shouted emily excitedly. she was so blonde sometimes....

"who invited you" I growled getting annoyed but calmed when I felt carters hand in mine.

"your a freek Anna!" jake shouted.

carter got a small cake from one of the tables and threw it landing straight in his face. this ended up in a massive cake fight until jake and emily stormed off

"that was amazing" I said

"you were amazing" he said looking at me. I found myself leaning in closer an closer until our lips met in a sweet short kiss. my foot rose something it never did with jake

"you taste like chocolate" he chuckled

"you taste like vanilla" I laughed back. I turned around to be faced with two unhappy faces. tony and zivas well I don't care at the moment I will apologise later right now I want to enjoy this moment. I was finally happy
