-Alex

"Another round of shots please." I was practically pulling my hair out at this point. Alcohol was supposed to make me feel better instead it's stressing me out even more. Chris kept drinking each round of shots as I ordered them, he didn't care as long as it wasn't on his tab.

"Listen Xander, you don't need to worry about this Landon person. He would have never done legitimate business with you anyway he just wanted to buy your company from under you because of the grand opening in 2 weeks. You're becoming more and more rich as the days go on, you need to be careful man. How are you not even tipsy? I've had three shots you've had five."

I laughed at Chris when he was done talking, he was right I just need to be careful. I ordered another round of shots, we both picked them up and said in unison, "Cheers!".

I lost track of how many rounds of shots we had downed. I know when we hit round ten the bartender told us to stop but they wouldn't tell someone who'd offered to pay twice the money to stop. So we definitely must be in the teens or the twentieth round right?

"Mate I'm calling it a night. Here's £20 get yourself a cab or whatever I don't care just don't die. Bye Chris." I tried to stand up without falling over I was just really seeing two of everything and wanted to throw up so badly. I'm pretty sure I told Chris to go home but I'm sure in reality it sounded like gibberish. When I finally made it outside the bar everything was so loud my body just immediately fell. I dragged myself up and sat against the wall. What the hell is happening?

-April

"Oh my gosh April you know Andrew texted me saying he's here as well I'm going to say hello to him okay." Melanie was already talking about ditching me and we weren't even inside yet. To be honest I had no idea who the heck Andrew is or was but I just nodded to her, maybe I would be able to sneak back home.

"I see him! Thanks April you're the best." She kissed me on the cheek and ran through the doors of the bar until she reached a table at the back with a man sitting alone. He looked older, definitely not our age of 24. He looked like he was pushing 30 but to me just was not attractive In any way possible. He had shaggy brown hair and from where I was standing I noticed his dark, gloomy eyes. In all honesty he just looked like an old businessman, Melanie definitely had questionable taste. I tore my eyes away from the two of them as it took a good 30 seconds before their tongues were down each other's throats.

I swear one of these days I hope my best friend actually settles down with a good, decent man. I go to take a step into the double doors when I hear a man...Groaning. People really are gross! I shook my head trying to get rid of any visual image about to be created in my brain. Before I could take another step I heard the groaning again. Okay. Maybe I should take a look?

I turn to face the direction where the noise was coming from and see the silhouette of a man. Please don't be naked. Please don't be naked.

I go closer and eventually stand right in front of him. He was attractive, to say the least. He was looking up at the sky revealing his chiselled jawline. I couldn't see his face so my eyes glanced lower noticing that he was tense.

His jaw looked clenched revealing the veins on his neck and strong Adam's apple. He was wearing a white crisp shirt with the first two buttons undone and his sleeves rolled up halfway showing his strong forearm. I looked even lower and noticed a Versace belt attached to his grey plaid trousers and a pair of Louboutin oxfords. This man definitely knew how to dress and looked very expensive. So why is he on the floor? Instead of doing the obvious thing and clearing my throat to get his attention, I walked beside him and took a seat on the floor so I could join him.
