When the unexpected became the inevitable

Chapter 25

-April

"Good job everyone. I'll see you all later on tonight." It's 5 pm by the time we finish. I tell everyone to go home and get ready. I'm the last one to leave, I make sure the art work is secure in the glass boxes and lock up and see Easton and Rylan waiting for me outside.

"You guys didn't have to wait for me." I say.  

 "I can give you a ride home so you can get ready." Easton says.          

  "I need to pick up my dress and get my makeup. Plus if I go home Alex will want to come with     me and he's fashionably late to everything."    

"I can go to your place and get your makeup." Rylan interrupts. "You and East can get your 

"And you can get ready at mine. I have to go early as well you know. I have my chefs on stand by." Easton adds. I hug them both and say thank you then get into Easton's car. We drive to the place where my dress is and pick it up, then we go to Easton's house.

"East your place is beautiful." I walk inside a bungalow, not what I expected at all. It was all white, every single thing was white.      

 "The opposite of Alex's place isn't it. Everything is black at his place." He laughs. I've never been to Alex's house.

"Show me what you're wearing tonight East." I say changing the subject. I follow him to his bedroom I presume and he pulls out a black, three piece suit.    

"What do you think?" He asks.            

 "Ditch the blazer, keep the waistcoat." I answer honestly. He nods and the doorbell rings. It's Rylan with my makeup.     

  "Thank you!" I exclaim and hug Rylan at the door. "Now get out of here! You need to get to the Gala at the same time as me." He nods and leaves.     

"Well then..." Easton begins, "Let's get ready."

After an hour I finish up my makeup and look at myself in the mirror. My makeup is natural, nothing amazing. My dress is definitely a little bit extra for me. I chose to wear a strapless bodice corset red tulle dress. It looked like a princess dress but it was red. On my feet I chose to wear my Louboutin's, it didn't match but you couldn't even see my feet because of how big the dress is.  "You look amazing." Easton says while buttoning his waistcoat.       

"Thank you East. You look amazing as well." I smile at him and sit on his bed.   

"Is Cassidy coming?" He asks.           

"Yeah why?"             

 "No reason, she's just nice that's all."                    

  "Okay?" I sigh.

"Easton we need to leave now. It's 6:00" I say. He hold his hand out for me to grab.  

  "April aren't you worried your going to fall over in that dress it's very big." He laughs.  

"Does it not look nice?" I ask.                

"You look amazing. But you'll be on your feet all night. Just looking out for you little sis." He kisses me lightly on the cheek and we walk out to his car ready to make our way to the Gala.
