My head hurts and I haven't even opened my eyes yet. I move around to make myself comfortable. This isn't my bed. I open my eyes and sit up immediately, so quick that I throw my head back in an instant. This is a hangover from hell. My eyes scan the room I'm in. It's all white and blue, very classy and feminine. Oh my god did I sleep with someone last night? I look at the glass coffee table in front of me and see a box of aspirin, a bottle of water and a note.
Hi my name is April, I'm 24. My age isn't really relevant but I can't remember if I told you last night or not. You were pretty hammered so I thought I'd help you out so don't freak out. Take two pills and help yourself to anything in the fridge. I'm in my room if you need me Mikey.
P.S Don't worry I didn't drive the McLaren :)
I laugh at her note, it's cute and at least now I know I don't have to deal with a clingy female. Mikey? Who the heck is Mikey?
"Hi." I hear a quiet soft voice speak. I look over to the direction from where it's coming from and I see her. Damn she is beautiful. She was definitely one of those girls that made others feel like they had to put pounds of makeup on because she was naturally beautiful. Her lips were naturally red and full. She had freckles covering her nose and surrounding her cheeks, they complimented her gorgeous, honey tanned skin very well. But her eyes. Her glossy, big green eyes were beautiful. She looked healthy, she had a natural pink flush to her cheeks. I had no idea if I should compliment her or not because this woman deserves to be complimented. She was wearing plain black leggings and a white shirt that looked like mine. It's not because mine is still attached to my body.
"Good morning apricot." My voice sounds gruff, definitely not sexy at all but this woman was being nice I'm definitely not trying to seduce her. She walks closer and lets out a quiet laugh.
"You remembered. I thought after you fell asleep you would forget everything."
"Nope. I have a tendency to remember things that are worth remembering." "I'm flattered...Mikey."
I lifted a brow quizzically, who's Mikey? Then I remembered, I lied to her about my damn name. I started rubbing my neck, it was a habit whenever I lied or got nervous.
"Is there a problem?" She smiled and spoke sarcastically. She definitely knows I lied.
"So I think we should re-introduce ourselves." I clear my throat and put out my hand for her to shake.
"Xander Reed. I'm sorry for lying last night most people go crazy when they find out who I am" This time she raised a brow at me.
"Your parents named you Xander? As in on your birth certificate it says Xander. Like X-A-N-D-E-R?"
I can't help but laugh after she speaks. It hurts my head but I can't help it. She completely ignored what I said about people knowing who I am. She just thinks I have a stupid name.
"Xander is short for Alexander. It's what my friends call me."
"I think Alex is short for Alexander." I clenched my jaw when she said Alex. Luckily she didn't notice and carried on speaking.
"I think I'll call you Alex. Xander sounds so American." Normally I'd object if anyone tried to call me anything other than Xander or Alexander but for some reason when April said it I didn't mind.
