-April

"Good morning beautiful." Alex says leaning over the bed.

"Good morning." I smile and place a light peck on his lips. I look around the room and realise we aren't in the apartment. We're in his penthouse.

"Why aren't we at the apartment?" I ask.

"Because there's something I need to show you. You were too sleepy yesterday so I took you here."

"Show me now." I say eagerly.

 "It's at the apartment."

"I'll shower then we can go?"

He nods in agreement and I pounce off the bed heading for the bathroom making him laugh.

I shower and put on a pair of black leggings and one of Alex's white t shirts. I put a pair of YSL slides that Alex got for me and go into the living room.

"You look beautiful as always." He says and kisses the top of my head. I blush and push him out of the door.

"Can I drive?" I ask excitedly running towards the black McLaren.

"Maybe one day." He says. Meaning no.

We get to the apartment door and Alex makes me close my eyes. I hear him open the door, he grabs my hands and helps me walk in.

"Okay are you ready?" He asks and I nod. "Open." He says quietly and I open my eyes.

I gasp and look at what's in front of me on the wall. There's a huge canvas with a picture of me and Alex on it. It's a picture of us at the gala, smiling when we were dancing. I didn't even know this picture was taken. He looks ridiculously handsome in the picture but both of us. We look happy. I turn to face Alex and cup his face.

"It's amazing Alex. Why did you do this?" I ask. He takes one of my hand from his face and kisses the palm.

"I love you April. The gala seems like so long ago now but that's when I realised I was in love with you." He smiles.

I take a step back and admire the picture again.

"It'll look amazing in the penthouse you know." He says, walking in front of me. "Move in with me. Properly, at the penthouse. I know you're going to say it's too much or that you don't deserve it but-" I interrupt him with a kiss. I smile against his lips and murmur,

"Yes." He smiles back at me and kisses me again.

I pull away and walk around the apartment.

"I've lived here since I was 18." I sigh and lean against the island in the kitchen.

"It's your past." Alex says while walking towards me.

"It's time to move on." I say to the apartment.

"We can reminisce about the apartment later. I'm hungry." Alex whines.

"Let's get some food." I smile and we walk for the door.
