-April
I could listen to Alex talk for hours. He was talking about how passionate he is about his charity and how he created it to help homeless people not only have a home but get their lives back on track. How his charity/company are going to help people with financial struggles and in honour of everything going into motion today he's donating £10,000 to 3 charities. I always used to think if you had money, your greed would be terrible. Alex is the complete and total opposite.
"I'd like to thank April James." The speakers shout. I look up and see Alex on the stand smiling at me even from the distance that we are at right now.
"April helped show me things that I take for granted. Like my money and how I could spend as much as I wanted on a meal but other people can't. April made me a kinder person. She helped me become more considerate and honestly more passionate about RCO. I don't think she realises it but she's too good for the world and I owe my success to her and people like her. I won't be answering any question due to my schedule but I hope I've covered everything about the company. I thank all of you for coming here to listen, thank you goodbye." He flashes a smile of pure happiness and walks off the stand and towards me, Easton and Chris.
Easton and Chris get to him before Alex can barely get out the public eye. They do the generic male handshake thing and congratulate him. I peek and look at all the press taking pictures of the three men. Should i go to him or just wait till he reaches me? April this man congratulated you in front of thousands. Stop being a baby and get your arse over to him! My conscience basically shouts at me and I walk over to them. Once I'm seen all I hear is people calling my name asking me to face them. Alex looks at me and I immediately jump into his arms which completely catches him off guard. He returns the hug and draws circles on my back. After I'm satisfied with my long hug I pull away and look at him, his hands still wrapped around my waist.
"That was our first hug." He says with a smile on his face.
"You deserve it." I pause, "You didn't have to shout me out and all."
"You deserve it." He repeats.
"Okay sexy people." Chris says, "Let's celebrate!" We all nod and walk to the car park and agree to get lunch as Easton's restaurant.
"But I want to go in the fast car!" Chris whines. How is this man 27?
"Chris you're being a baby, what are you 5?" Alex says while rolling his eyes.
"I'm 5 and a half actually!" Chris shouts which makes me and Easton laugh.
"My point has been proven." Alex sighs.
"Chris you ride with Alex. East I'll go in your car. Boom. Problem solved." I say and Chris starts punching fists in the air.
"Don't leave me with him." Alex pleads while tugging on my arm.
"We'll see you guys at the restaurant. Bye." I say and grab Easton's arm as we walk over to his car. We stop at a black old-school muscle car.
"This is beautiful." I say to Easton while running my fingers along the top on the car.
"Really? A lot of people prefer Alex's car."
"Alex has an amazing car." I admit, "But yours is something else."
"Thank you for boosting my cars self-esteem." He laughs and opens the door for my to go in. He jogs to the other side and starts the car.
"Music?" He asks.
"Of course."
