-April

"You know." I say whilst we're stopped at a red light. "You've visited me at work tons of time but I've never visited you. I've never even seen where you work." He looks at me and taps the steering wheel of his McLaren.

"You're always welcome April. You don't need to ask you know that right?"

"Yeah I know but..." I begin.

"but?" He repeats.

"You know, I've watched Fifty Shades of Grey. I know I'm going to walk in and all of your female employees are going to be beautiful supermodels that are going to look at me like I'm the dog poop from under their shoes."

"Dog poop huh?" He says while driving the car.

"Yes, and then when I say: I'm here to see Mr Reed they're going to ask me if I have an appointment. I'm going to say no and then they'll tell me that no one can see you unless you have an appointment. Then I'll leave in defeat and the girls will start giggling and when you get home I'll tell you to fire them. When I tell you why you'll say I'm being ridiculous then I'll be pissed at you for calling me ridiculous and-"

"April stop talking." Alex says, interrupting me. "First of all, this isn't Fifty Shades of Grey. My staff wouldn't treat you like that. They'd probably do the appointment thing because that's mandatory but I'm on the top floor so honestly you don't need to talk to the receptionist. Second of all, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. You don't need to worry about feeling insecure."

"What a charmer you are Mr Reed."

"Only for you Miss James." He says while smiling at the road.

We pull up to the big building that has 'Reed Enterprise' plastered on the front. Alex parks in a spot that has his name engraved on a gold slab.

"You are so extra." I murmur.

"What?" He asks.

"Nothing. Are you ready to do this?" I say while getting out the car. He makes his way to my side of the car and puts his hand on the small of my back.

"I'm ready? Are you?" He asks. I nod and we both smile. He clicks the button on his keys and we walk to the front of the building, where thousands of people are waiting for Alexander Reed to give his speech.

Before Alex speaks another man thanks everyone for coming and congratulates Alex on his success. He talks for a little while, I don't pay attention because Easton and Chris snake through the crowd to reach my at the sidelines at the front.

"Hey stranger, why are you hiding?" Easton says while pulling me into a hug. I wrap my arms around him then hug Chris.

"I'm not hiding. Just supporting from the sidelines." I say which makes Easton scoff.

"You look hot." Chris says which makes Easton hit him on the back of his head.

"You really are special, aren't you Chris?" I say jokingly.

"You know it baby." He responds with a smirk which only makes Easton hit him again.

"Damn respect your elders East." Chris says while rubbing his head. Before East can respond I hit both of them of the head and say,

"Shut up, Alex is starting."
