Best District (+1)
There were originally quite a few districts in the running for this award, and, considering that two different districts made it to quarterfinals, this was definitely a contested award. However, it goes to the Career district who produced a semifinalist and a finalist.
The Winner: District Two, Edgar Phasear and Epona Jericho [3] (a-k-a-anonymous and katniss-everdeen)
Best Character (+2, +1 for Runner Up):
So many forms had the potential to develop into absolutely brilliant characters, but I had to choose two. The two winners were the niece of our runner-up last Games and the boy who condemned thousands of people to death with his wish.
Runner Up: Ava Emerson [10] (RappyTheDinosaur)
Winner: Aster Wheatleigh [5] (theravensdiadem)Best Newbie (+2, +1 for Runner Up)
This award goes to an author who can hardly be considered a newbie, considering that she's been participating in Games for a while. However, this author has recently started involving herself in more mainstream Games, so congratulations to them!
Runner Up: FindingCallum (Marbella Doré)
Winner: a-k-a-anonymous (Edgar Phasear)Dark Horse (+1)
This award goes to someone who I hadn't really seen around in Games and who got off at a bit of a rough start. However, they managed to improve as tasks came by and very nearly made their way to quarterfinals!
Runner Up: Wesley Redding (EverydayAwkwardness)
Winner: Macey Arson (Squad53)Reverse Dark Horse (+1)
This award, new to my Games but not to Wattpad, acknowledges that as much as we might sometimes wish a character success and expect it to happen, there's always one or two who leave before their time. Therefore, our runner-up is a seeded player and former finalist who died shockingly early, and our winner is an author renowned for being good and was seeded, who happened to miss a deadline and left far too early.
Runner Up: Ariana Blake [6] (Clove_Thenardier)
Winner: Ava Emerson [10] (RappyTheDinosaur)Best Entry (+2, +1 for Runner Up)
Like in the last few Games, the winner and runner-up of this award were incredibly hard to choose. However, I decided to choose two of the six entries I received in semi-finals. I am, of course, talking about:
Runner Up: Aya Brandley ~ The Last Midnight [4] (SilverAndGoldfish)
Winner: Aster Wheatleigh ~ The Last Midnight [5] (theravensdiadem)Best Name (+1)
This award is one of our slightly sillier awards, though not any less important; a good/remarkable name helps your character be liked/noticed from the start. These awards go to two names that just had the perfect assortment of sounds.
Runner Up: Ada Huxley [2] (MagmaKepner)
Winner: Stellia Robill (Frostlapse)The Aptly Named Sierra Award for Procrastination (+1)
I think the name of this award makes its winner pretty obvious. The amount of times she's given me a heart attack for handing it at the literal last minute or even on the clock is frankly alarming! If you're looking for a reason why I don't post at five on the dot, there she is!
Runner Up: AnderaGNovak (Angora Baste)
Winner: SilverAndGoldfish (Aya Brandley) [4]The Bless Your Soul Award for Sportsmanship (+2 for winner, +1 for runner up)
This award goes to a person who truly brings joy to my heart by being the most gracious person I've gotten to have in a Games. They literally decided not to vote for themselves as they thought others deserved it better.
Runner Up: FindingCallum (Marbella Doré)
Winner: TheFactionless (Vixen Faulkner)The Fan Favourite Award (+1)
This character survived many rounds of voting and that should be acknowledged. What is it they have that makes them so liked? Well, go ask them!
Winner: Edgar Phasear (a-k-a-anonymous)
