Physical Description:  Epona Jericho does not stand out in the general stereotype of District  Two. Her hair is the usual black that everyone has come to expect, tied  back from her face in two braids that reach down to her waist. Despite  her childish hairstyle, Epona looks anything but young. Her eyes are a  piercing green, watching you and silently deciding which way would be  most effective to separate your head from your body. She stands tall, a  slender frame that can move gracefully through whatever environment you  thrown her in. Epona could even be considered pretty, her cat-like  features softening when she leaves her hair lose and finally smiles.  However, Epona never smiles.

Personality:  Epona lacks empathy, but thrives off determination. She has never once  allowed herself to fail at anything, continuing to work harder until she  achieves what she set out to do. Even if it means trampling over  everyone in her way, or putting an end to their short life, Epona will  always ensure she achieves victory in everything she does. However, she  has a single soft spot. She could kill a child without a second thought,  but if you show her a hurt animal then she will do anything in her  power in order to keep that creature alive. On the other hand, Epona  will murder you in your sleep and back stab you without a second thought  if you stand in her way.

Background: Just  like every other tribute in District Two, Epona was practically raised  within the Training Centre. She is adept with weapons, capable of  surviving alone in the wild for multiple days. She has never let herself  be broken by anything, other than her one friend. When she is not  training, Epona is on the very edge of the District. She looks beyond  the fence, searching for Isla and feeding her scraps of meat in order to  keep her alive. Still only a wolf pup, Isla is small enough to fit  through a hole under the fence in order to come and play with her  adopted mother. She is the only thing that Epona truly cares for.

Volunteered

Reason: Epona has  only one more challenge in order to prove that she cannot be stopped.  By winning the Hunger Games, she will know that she is the best and she  will be granted the opportunity to try her skills out on living things.  Within the arena, she will not be stabbing straw dummies. The blood will  be very real.

Strengths: Epona  is adept with every weapon, although her true specialty is a simple  katana. When it comes to animals or mutations, Epona is yet to find  anything she cannot time. Finally, Epona is not afraid to kill and will  not be broken by guilt.

Weaknesses:  Whilst Epona is able to kill a human, she would be unable to kill a  mutation. Her lack of empathy can sometimes break her, getting her into  dangerous trouble with any allies. Finally, she is always too harsh on  herself - she will make stupid decisions to try and prove that she is  the best.

Weapon: Katana

Token: A lock if  Isla's fur, trapped within a small locket. Many tributes will be  concerned for their families, but Epona only cares for her pup.

Wish: As it is a  creature from outside District Two, Isla would be killed if anyone else  saw her. Therefore, Epona's wish is to remove the gates surrounding  District Two to allow the wild animals to come and go as they please. If  a mountain lion attacks a toddler, that is simply a risk that Epona is  willing to take.
