Physical Description:  Beck's appearance can be described in one word. Perfect. Beck has  sea-green eyes, which are a bit squinted. His hazel, almost blonde hair  is medium length, and he prefers the bangs up. His eyebrows are just the  perfect width, not too thick nor is it too thin. His face is a bit  slim, with his cheekbones barely showing. Beck has skin that is between  ashen and light-beige. His head is a bit oblong, and it is not too big  nor is it too small. He stands at the height of 5'11", taller than the  rest of the boys his age. His body is moderately muscular, and is a bit  lean. He usually wears pine green clothing, for it's his favorite color.

Personality:  District 4 seems to produce quite a few handsome, yet deceiving male  tributes. His rough background has shaped him into who he is. He is  always aggressive, and never leaves an argument without physically  hurting the person. He is cold-hearted, and will never care for anyone.  He is very violent. He is one of the few baddest bitches you'll meet.  But occasionally, his better nature takes control of him. He is calm and  gentle. He is willing to help anyone, even strangers. He has a big  heart that is open to everyone. He is a peacemaker, and will never want  to fight anyone, from innocent looking people, to bullies.

Background: On  June the Fourteenth, the day before the reaping, on the 334th year since  the Dark Days, he was born to Calder and Jocelyn Laiken. He had an  older brother named Carter, 3 at the time. But Jocelyn was eighteen,  still eligible for reaping. On the next day, the day of the reaping,  Jocelyn was reaped. She survived the bloodbath, but on Day 3, the  careers found her and the District 2 boy maliciously killed her. Beck  had a hard life growing up in the tyrannical rule of his devastated dad.  When Beck was 9, Carter turned twelve, and got reaped for the 343rd  Games. He was murdered by the fifth day by the District 8 female. Also  at the time, his father caught the fast spreading disease in the  district, and within a few weeks, died. He was sent to the orphanage. He  made only three friends.

When he was thirteen, he  realized he liked his friend, Grace Brook. He kept it to himself, and  pretended it was nothing. Then, the bullies picked on him, due to his  loneliness, only three friends. Everyone teased him, even two of his  friends. But Grace stood by him. At this age, Beck developed his  aggressive, cold-hearted personality, and Grace was the only thing that  mattered to him. He happily spent the next 3 years with her, fishing in  the sea after-school to earn money. Until the day of the reaping, when  they were 16. Grace's name was called, but somebody volunteered.

Reaped

Reaction: He  stood there in terror, hoping someone would volunteer like they did for  Grace. But nobody did. He accepted the fact, and showed his confidence.  As he walks to the stage, he had two things in mind. Kill Districts 2  and 8 and win.

Strengths: - He is prepared to kill.
- He has been trained with two weapons, a trident, and a machete.
- He has knowledge of edible food.
- He is strong and muscular.

Weaknesses: The only thing that will break him is; -Grace, the most beloved one in his life.

Weapon of Choice: As aforementioned, tridents or machetes.

Token: A locket with a picture of Grace.

Wish: For the games to stop and to bring his beloved, dead relatives back to life.
