Physical Description:  Cottyn is a very handsome young lad. Especially for District Eight! The  young man has short, dark hair that is always in a surfer like  hairstyle. Cottyn has fair skin with few freckles upon it. His head is  oval shaped, attached to his face is his blue-gray eyes, most of the  time in a glare. A bit of stubble is placed around his chin area. Cottyn  stands around 6'1, making his muscular body look even better. The  handsome man weighs 198lbs, better then most of the citizens of the  District of Textiles. As I said before, Cottyn Arachne is a very  handsome young man.

Personality:  Cottyn is a brave teenager. He isn't afraid to state his mind, to  anybody. Cottyn doesn't really try to be nice to anybody, well to most  people at the least. The only people he is kind to, at the least, is the  people he trusts. Most think that he is a cold hearted bitch, but that  is not the case. Something went on in his seventeen years of living that  made him this way, but let's save that for another story (A. K. A the  background). Cottyn is also not having a very good liking of the games, .  When he heard about the quarter quell, instantly he planned to  volunteer. He doesn't like the games, but he isn't afraid to kill. He is  determined to win to get the wish he wanted. It is very hard to get his  trust, but it is possible. Cottyn is colder then ice.

Background:  Cottyn was born on May Fifth to Calico and Argyle Arachne. He had an  older sister named Twyla who was two. He was a happy baby. Their parents  had them when they were eighteen, still eligible for the games. Twyla  was also sick with an unknown disease. Calico and Argyle got reaped in  the games when Twyla got really sick. On day two, They died, killed by  District Four. The same day, Twyla got worse and died. Cottyn didn't  know about this.

Cottyn then had to go to  an orphanage. Life was fine, probably because he was a baby. When he  turned ten, he realized something. He was never attracted to females. He  liked males. He realized he was gay. When everyone found out, Cottyn  began getting abused. By everyone because he was gay. He became cold, as  he is now. He hated everyone in the orphanage because of how they  treated him

One day, he was adopted.  He was adopted by Velvette and Weave Sharp. They were kind to him, even  if he was gay. He was cold to them. They tried the hardest they could  to get him to be kind to them. One day, Weave got tired of it, so he  tried to kill Cottyn in his sleep. It failed but Weave knocked Cottyn  unconscious. When Cottyn woke up, he ran away knowing what happened.

After he ran away, he  lived on the streets, becoming more cold and getting stronger. He even  killed someone but that's another different story. He lived on streets  for the rest of his life. After he heard the quell from someone talking,  he trained on the streets of District Eight. He made weapons from items  he stole. Cottyn Arachne has had the worst life.

Volunteered

Reason: He wanted to go in the games to kill both of District Four, and to benefit Panem by his wish.

Strengths: Intelligent, Strong, Determined, Fast, Sly, Not afraid to kill, Good with Weapons.

Weaknesses: Asshole, Trust not easily given, most times untrustworthy, loud, evil, states mind.

Weapon Of Choice: Cottyn uses all weapons, since of his free time, but he likes dual axes since he trained first and most with it.

Token: A peice of cotton and string made into a necklace. He keeps it on all the time.

Wish: Cottyn  wishes for the games to end, with the dead tributes being revived,  looking as they did before they died and the same age.
