Hours had passed with Dakota in his own little world. Zachary took it upon himself to daydream on his own, something he often did. Though, soon enough, they had found themselves treking past the mountain. The tree where he first saw Dakota the other day stood still as Zachary looked at it, a small smile on his face. Though, he seemed relieved to be rid of the wolf territory. It wasn't in an offensive mannor, just a scared one. Zachary had never seen or spoken to an elder. He had run into a few pups before, but they didn't do much since they were still young. It was always Dakota who was willing to fight him. It excited the man. Maybe it was because they would be touching that way. Though, the blood sucker didnt have much time to think on it as he followed the other male. The city was full of smells, and Zachary enjoyed each and every one of them. It reminded him of when he was human, though the smells seem to different every ten years or so. Walking into the apartment, he looked around and smiled. Of course the other had a bachelor suite. It fit the damn dog. His own apartment was one on the south side, closer to vampire territory. It was a cheap and dingy open room apartment, something his father got for him since he never really stayed there anyways. It was mainly to keep his human belongings. Memories from the past. Removing his shoes at the doorway, he looked around and smiled. It smelled heavily of the dog. To think, all the years they had been rivals and he had never thought he would enjoy the sent of dog. Or wolf. Noticing the mess, he flashed a coy smile at Dakota. "I always knew you  were messy, but you really put the woof in werewolf." He teased, his cocky attitude showing at such a time. Though, he found himself picking things up. Another thing about Zachary? He was a heavy ocd. He always had to be cleaning something. Before long, he had organized everything and even done the dishes. Another two hours had passed and he sat on the couch, now completely anf utterly bored. Sighing, he let his eyes fall closed before a noise woke him up. It was a tap at the window. Looking around, he saw... A bird. It was a beautiful red bird, looking towards Zachary. The vampire smiled softly. He refused to hunt in the city, so he just watched as the bird pecked at the window anf flew away.
