Stopping in front of the two rocks where Wendy was hiding, Tiberius glowered at her with fury in his light brown eyes. They sometimes flashed red a little with anger. The old hawk clearly wasn't happy. He was tired, tense and his side and wing hurt from where the boar had struck him. He was silently praying that there wasn't any broken bones. And his problems were all thanks to the young hawk cowering before him. Eyes narrowing, he growled, "You're an idiot."

"Thank you for saving me," Wendy spoke softly. Looking around the area, she figured it was safe so she crawled out of her hiding spot. Gazing up at the old hawk hat had saved her life, she dared to give him a hug. As expected, she was shoved away. Laying on the ground, the month old red tailed hawk watched as her companion got ready to leave her once more on the forest floor. Knowing she wasn't gonna be able to change his mind, Wendy quietly went back to where she had been sleeping when she heard a cry of pain. Worried she looked up.

His left wing limp by his side, the old hawk glared angrily at it as he snarled, "Just my luck... dislocated!" Wendy lowered her head as he approached the tree. Taking a deep breath, he rammed his left shoulder against the tree trunk. There was a loud crack that made Wendy jump out of her skin. Shaking a little, she saw that the older red tail had managed to pop his wing back into the socket. However, when he tried to fly again, it was obvious that it still hurt. Seeing that he wasn't able to get up in the tree, Wendy looked up at him expectantly.

"WHAT?!" Tiberius snapped, glaring at Wendy. Dipping her head, the young hawk spoke softly, "You can sleep by me." Scuffing angrily, the older hawk rolled his eyes in annoyance. However, he padded over to the tree and laid down at the base of the trunk, putting a tree root in between himself and Wendy. Freezing, Wendy tried to lay down beside him but was hissed at, causing her to go back to her spot.
