Taehyung POV

The sun had always been a favourite memory in my childhood. Playing in the green fields wearing straw hats beside my brother, as my sister yelled at us to slow down. Suntanning on the beach with friends, checking out girls while secretly hiding the fact that I was gay. Having lunch in the backyard cooked by Seokjin with the rest of the members, resting.

I had always loved the sun, because of the joy it always brought to me.

I opened my eyes as the van jolted to a stop, and sparkly brown eyes met mine. I smiled, and pecked Jungkook on his nose before enveloping him in my arms, half asleep.

"Get up baby," He giggled, steadying me. "We've arrived." Immediately, I sat up and peered out the black tinted window. It was too dark to truly see that scenery that awaited us outside, but  could faintly glimpse the outline of a dock that stretched out onto the a somewhat blue ocean. Excited, I grabbed Jungkook's hand, all sleepiness sapped out of my body as I unlocked the car door and jumped out.

I was met by the welcoming hug of a bask of sunshine. Refreshed, I extended my arms towards the clear sky, relaxing my sore joints that had been exhausted due to recent rehearsals. The air smelt salty, and the unmistakable smell of hot cement road tickled my nose.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I sighed happily, bouncing circles around Jungkook, who was rubbing splotches of white sunscreen on his exposed face, arms and legs.

"Yeah it is," He replied casually, not even looking up as he applied the lotion thoroughly, afraid to get sunburnt or even the slightest bit tan.

"Oh my god babe, it's just a bit of sunshine! It cant hurt you!" I laughed, taking off my sandal and throwing it at his legs. He yelped, and looked up. Finally noticing the surroundings, he whistled approvingly and nodded.

"Nice place," Jungkook commented, before handing me the oily bottle. "Put some on too, I don't want you to get burned." I tutted, complying to his orders in case he asked out on me again about the importance of skincare.

It was strange, to have half of Jeju Island all to ourselves. It took a bit of convincing, and a lot of funds, but we managed to rent the beaches for a day. Except for workers and such, we were totally alone.

A raven haired male ran up to us from the dock, grinning widely.

"Hey guys!" He smiled, shaking our hands. "You made it on time!"

"Nice to see you again, Jackson," Jungkook smiles back, tugging on his T- shirt sleeves. "And yes, somehow I managed to wake this doof up." He punched me lightly on the shoulder. I was too excited to care really, and started walking towards the boats.

The coat of paint on the jet ski glistened with polish, like it was ready and begging me to be used.

"You've done this kind of thing before right?" Jackson asked, patting the engine fondly.

"A reasonable number of times," I answered, pulling two life jackets from underneath the seat, handing one to Jungkook. "It can't be that hard." He rolled his eyes and handed me the ignition keys.

"As long as you're nothing like Joon," Jackson snickered. "The last time I let him use my jet ski, he crashed it into a rock island and the whole front came off." I winked proudly, trying to act cool in front of Jungkook as I strapped on the life jacket. He had already climbed onto the seat, checking out the control panel in awe of all the modern levers, complicated buttons and such. I swatted his fingers away, shaking my head as I slipped in front of him.

"Let me drive," I assured him, turning around and leaning closer to whisper. "Besides, I want to feel your arms around me while we're on the ocean." Jungkook flushed and pressed his lips together with a shy smile, but gradually wrapped his arms around my waist, holding on tight.

Jackson waved us goodbye, and with a deep rumble the engine ignited, and seafoam created a trail behind us as the jet ski plummeted into the distance. The sudden jolt of movement made Jungkook tumble forward, and his forehead nestled into my nape. I smiled to myself, revving the handles as we sped up, bouncing up and down on the sea surface. Cold, fresh water splashed against our exposed skin, but the strong wind blew it dry again.

"Go faster Tae!" Jungkook screeched, putting up one hand while the other stayed hugging my torso. I sped up, and he squealed with laughter, breaking into giggles. I felt warm lips kiss my neck, and I shuddered with happiness.

Strands of hair flew into my eyes, and I shook my head to get them out of the way. Fingers threaded through my fringe as Jungkook held my hair back, still breathless with adrenaline.

After rounds and rounds of circling the crystal blue cove, I slowed down the jet ski as we reproached the dock. Jackson was no longer there, which meant we were fully alone. As I got off the transport, my feet wobbled, strange to walk on such a slow pace after speeding like before. Jungkook interlaced our hands and pulled me along behind him, spotting an ice-cream shop over the cliff.

"Vanilla is such an authentic flavour," Jungkook sighed blissfully, lapping up his cold treat. I munched at my own cone, trying to keep up with how fast the frozen dessert was melting. Despite the amount of napkins and tissues, ice-cream was dripping down the sides of my fingers.

Jungkook flashed a suggestive look at me, before lifting my cone to eye level, right in front of his mouth. Without warning, he stuck out his tongue and licked the white liquid off my sticky fingers, flicking his tongue along the crevices. I nudged him away, afraid to what his actions might do to my hormones.

"I can deal with it myself," I blurted, rushing into the washroom behind us, feeling Jungkook's cheeky grin baring into my back.

When I returned, he wasn't standing there.

I searched the ice cream shop - nothing.

The dock - nothing.

Thats when I spotted a figure on the beach, spread out like a starfish. I approached him smiling, only to have it falter slightly when I noticed that he was shirtless. His well toned abs glistened like honey in the sunlight, his skin shiny and smooth. The corner of his mouth lifted in a half smile, reaching out with grabby hands. I sat down beside him, hugging my knees to my chest.

"Come suntan with me," Jungkook whined, tugging at my shirt. I hesitated, but slowly pulled my shirt off over my head. I couldn't bare looking down at my own physique, because there was no way it was as beautiful as his.

"You're so beautiful Tae," He yawned meekly, nuzzling my shoulder as he flopped an arm over my chest. "And hot too."

"Not as gorgeous as you, baby," I replied, kissing the top of his head. "You'll always be an angel to me." Jungkook blushed again, rolling his eyes.

"I wish I was younger," He mumbled, tounging his inner cheek. "My body was better then." I rested my head on his collar, closing my eyes as the sun drowned me in sleepiness.

"Mm, I don't need to be younger," I murmured, kissing down his throat sloppily. "I feel younger with you, and that's all that need."
