Class is over and like I said I took nothing in thanks to Freddie and now it is lunch and time for my dreaded meeting with him.
Walking out of the classroom Tal grabs a hold of my wrist, pulling me down the corridor along with JJ to where Manon is waiting at the bottom.
As I stop before them, I can't help but frown in confusion.
"What are we doing stopping here guys? I'm hungry, can we go get food already because if we don't go now I'm going to die."
Tal gives him a glare.
"Shut it JJ, we are all here in this cramped end way of a corridor because it's private and we need to talk."
He can't help but whine, I roll my eyes and cross my arms, waiting.
"Can't we do that over food, in a comfy seat in the cafeteria?"
Tal smacks his arm, shutting him up.
"We will eat soon so shut up, this is for Leto."
I instantly perk up at the mention of my name.
"What about me?"
Manon turns to me.
"Tal messaged us early this morning that we needed a best friend chat with you, said that you needed it or something."
He holds his arm, faking the pain.
"Not in those exact words Manon, but that's about the gist of her text."
I look at the three of them, rolling my eyes.
They all leveled up with these expensive looking devices.
"Don't tell me that all three of you have those new blasted mobile phones?"
They all look at me and nod, almost in unison.
"What do you guys want to talk about?"
Manon comes closer to me from the end of the corridor, reaching up and placing her hand on the side of my face, startling me with her unusual contact.
"We know you've been through a lot of shit lately and your parents even more shittier absence, but we want you to know that we are your family, your brother and sisters and we are not going anywhere, got it?"
Tal beams at me as she comes to take her place beside her.
"She knocked the nail on its head Leto, we don't want you facing everything alone, we are reminding you to rely on us for anything, right JJ?"
He moves a little closer to us, clutching his stomach dramatically.
"Yeah yeah, kind of already told him that this morning but yeah I'm down for it, now can we eat because my stomachs going to think I've cut my throat out."
