"Don't try to fool yourself into thinking you didn't feel anything, Leto."
"I don't have to fool myself as I don't feel anything for you."
"Don't lie, don't make me do something I might regret."
"I doubt a creature...

"Go to Leto, he is asleep in our bed, he needs you more than ever right now and as one of his best friends, I tell you now...I am pretty pissed that you haven't been making him your main priority, I suggest you work on that."
The smile on my face slowly drops, everything about me feeling far too serious as my eyes harden, taking control of myself, I put my hands up in surrender as I walk around the two of them and out of the kitchen, walking in the direction of their bedroom.
Making my way down the hall that leads to their bedroom, I notice that the stench inside of our bedroom is getting to the point of not being able to breathe properly, bypassing it quickly I go over to the door of their room, pressing my ear to it.
Listening out for signs of life, I can hear with my heightened hearing my boy sleeping, feeling his aura being off even through the door.
Gently I press my hand down on the door handle, pushing the door open all I can see is the top of his head above the covers, at seeing him looking so adorable, my heart warms.
Moving across the room, I sit on the edge of the bed, slowly reaching my hand out I stroke the hair that is visible to me, gently stroking it I smile to myself, feeling angry at myself for neglecting him the way I did, I know I should have put him first but seeing Cairo injured like that panicked me.
Cairo is more than just my best friend, he is my brother, he has always been my companion and I love him, I know he has Jay now but I know he still needs me as much as I need him.
Slowly pulling the covers off of his face so that I can see him, his beautiful sleeping face welcomes me, I smile even more as I stroke his cheek with my fingers, I then lean towards him and lay a kiss on his forehead.
At my kiss I see his eyes flutter open, for a few moments he seems to be far away, then he blinks a few times as his eyes slowly meet mine, at him seeing me I smile at him.
"Hey angel."
Slowly sitting up he stretches his arms up as he let's out a big yawn, he then looks at me again with a unreadable expression.
"Why are we in Cairo and Jay's room?"
I snort.
"Blimey, how long were you asleep for?"
He just half smiles at me as he rubs his eyes with the back of his hands, he then let's out a sigh.
"Why didn't you come looking for me?"
I frown at him not understanding what he is talking about, reaching towards him, I take a hold of his hand, interlocking our fingers.
"When?"
He just stares at me.
"You were busy after seeing Cairo's infection and didn't even notice I had left the bunker."
