~Leto~

It has been about two months since Freddie treated me the way he did, since Jay found Cairo and bought him back to us and because of this things have become a little more livable.

Tal has become more of a sister than my best friend, she's been here everyday making sure that I am ok, to be honest it has become a little annoying, but I can't be harsh to her as I know she is only doing her best.

I have also noticed that something may be going on with her and Enzo, but I can't be sure as he's been rather absent lately.

The sun blares down on me as I am sat down on a bench in a park near the bunker, ever since Freddie came back to me he seems to be treating me a lot better and is actually giving me some space.

I close my eyes as I think back to this mornings conversation with Cairo, he is still a little fragile from his episode and I'm not quite sure how to act around him, his relationship with Jay has seemed to have got a lot better, even though none of them have actually said anything to anyone.

So I can only presume.

This morning Cairo was sat on the sofa engrossed in a book, huddled up in a blanket, setting off one thing that was pretty clear- to leave him alone.

Jay was in the shower and Freddie was in the kitchen making our breakfast, while Tal was cleaning the hall. I felt awkward as I approached him while trying to come up with something that wouldn't be insulting or annoying.

"Hey Cairo, how are things?"

As soon as he heard my voice his shoulders stiffened, his fingers on the edge of the book going white as he gripped it, then his eyes looking over at me over the top of his book as they slowly met mine.

"Ouh Leto, I didn't see you there."

I bit my lip as I fiddled with my fingers.

"How are things with Jay now?"

He then put the book down, saving the page with a book mark.

"Er well, we have decided to keep things to our selves at the moment, don't really want to ruin things this early in our relationship."

I couldn't help it, I smirked.

"So, you two are a thing now?"

I watched as his face turned to panic as he realised what he had just revealed to me, he then tries to cover it up by pulling the blanket over his shoulder, then he shyly smiles.

"Well..."

I point at him, not being able to control myself anymore.

"You are blushing, I never thought I'd see the day that Cairo St. Claire could blush over something like this, you must really like my friend."
