"Tell me everything."
"There really isn't anything to tell Leto."
I watch as he has practically cornered her in the kitchen, while I am innocently minding my own business eavesdropping, standing in front of the kettle while it boils.
"There is obviously something Tal, I saw it with my own eyes."
She just stands there in front of him, looking back up at him not speaking a word, Leto then let's out a frustrated sigh as he throws his arms up dramatically in the air.
"You kissed him, you kissed my boyfriends brother! Now tell me if there really wasn't anything to tell."
Before I can even control myself, the words already spewing from my mouth like word vomit, spinning around to face them.
"You kissed Enzo?!"
The both of them turn to stare at me with a start, then Leto moves away from her to lean his back against the counter, Tal's face turning to beetroot.
"Technically, he kissed me."
Leto goes to corner her again, but she gives him a look that could make a nun cry, he then backs off and folds his arms across his chest, resuming back to his position against the counter.
"You took the only hot one around Jay, you know I have a thing for accents."
I feel my insides turning to jelly as I know my face is all red, I turn back around to pour the hot water into the mugs, knowing full well that they are both boring holes into my turned back, expecting an answer.
"Concerning your relationship, you haven't actually told us anything about the two of you, all we have seen is him getting all hansy with you and you not pushing him away. Does that mean you guys are boyfriends?"
At the last part she queals with delight and I have to quickly cover my ears, I turn to her not being able to conceal the annoyance on my face.
"Will you shut the fuck up?"
All she does is point at my face and giggle like a little girl, Leto just stands to the side with a knowing smile.
"Well, she's not exactly wrong though, is she Jay?"
I don't know why I get so embarrassed when it comes to Cairo and I, we've not been together that long so I shouldn't be standing here getting all flustered over my best friends asking me about our relationship.
Yes she is right, we are boyfriends but I find it rather weird to call such a big guy like him- and him being a vampire at that, my boyfriend.
But I won't tell her that.
It somehow feels too personal, that yeah ok we are together but I don't exactly want it to be plastered everywhere for everyone to see, it's our relationship and if others want in on it then they can butt out, if we want people to know then the only way they'll be hearing about it is from our own mouths.
