Slowly opening my eyes, my body is sore and a heavy weight is on my chest, I look down and see him fast asleep with his head resting on me.
Everything that happened replays in my minds eye and I can't help but smile, he is finally mine and to be completely honest with you, I really didn't think he was going to say yes.
He's my boyfriend.
When I woke up yesterday from my sleep like coma and I saw him right in front of my eyes, I thought I must have been hallucinating because I had tried to convince myself that I was never going to see him again, but he is here with me and this time I'm not letting him go.
Gazing down at his beautiful sleeping angelic face, my heart gives me a hard thump trying to make me remember something I just can't seem to grasp. As I'm gazing at him I notice something I haven't seen before, he has the most adorable mole on his nose and it makes me wonder if he has always had it.
Gently stroking his hair, I can't help but feel such happiness growing inside me and I don't know what to do with it. Gazing at his face once more, the gold scars sticking out to me reminding me of how he got them because of me, pushing those thoughts aside I reach my hand out and gently stroke my thumb over each one of them.
As I stroke my thumb over a certain scar by his lip, he makes a noise in his sleep that sounds like a whimper of pain and I can't help but feel worried for him.
His eyes pop open as he looks straight at me, I gently hold his face in my hands and smile like a Cheshire cat.
"Good morning, beautiful."
He slowly smiles at me.
"Morning, oh hey shit sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep on your chest last night."
He goes to move off of me but I pull him back against me, holding him.
"Where do you think you are going, angel?"
"I'm hurting you, aren't I?"
I smile even more at him.
"Oh no, I'm perfectly ok now that I have you here with me."
