'If you came to me with a face I have not seen, with a voice I have never heard, I would still know you. Even if centuries separated us, I would still feel you. Somewhere between the sand and the stardust, through every collapse and creation, there is a pulse that echoes of you and I. When we leave this world, we give up all our possessions and our memories. Love is the only thing we take with us. It is all we carry from one life to the next.'

Making it back to the bunker with the guys tailing and taking their time to walk behind me, an urgency to get to Cairo as soon as possible takes over me, knowing in my heart that I needed him back there by my side, but also knowing that he needs his space.
With Leto taking about a quarter of my pain I can finally focus on my relationship, knowing that I have to be strong for the one I love makes the urgency stronger than before.
Climbing down the ladder from the street, I walk down the corridor that leads to our bedroom, as I turn the corner rain starts fall in the street above me, the sound stilling my anxiety as I see that our door is slightly ajar.
Going up to the door I listen out but I hear nothing but silence, nervousness and worry takes over me as I start to think he has left me again, placing my hand on the door I push it open and head inside, softly closing it behind me.
Turning towards the room I immediately see him, a smile forms on my face as I see that he is where I last saw him, only this time he is sleeping with a few books scattered around him with his journal entry page open and his sketchbook open as well, coming over to him I close his journal to be respectful of his thoughts, knowing that he'd be so upset if I read his personal things.
Carefully sitting on the edge of the bed I try not to disturb his peaceful slumber, as I watch him in his hibernation state- seeing as vampires don't technically sleep, I can't help but admire his beauty.
As I am watching him, the page of his sketchbook he was working on catches me out of the corner of my eye.
