"Will you stop fucking mothering me! I am perfectly fine in dressing myself Freddie."

We are standing in our bedroom on the morning of Monday and Freddie won't stop fussing and trying to mother me ever since what happened with the balcony incident 2 weeks ago and to be honest it's starting to piss me off.

"I only care about you Leto, just let me help."

"I am not an invalid."

"I know, I just...fuck it, fine don't accept my help."

He flings my shirt at me and then dramatically opens the door and storms out of it like he's got a rocket up his ass, I hear him throwing shit around in the kitchen like some kid who didn't get his own way.

Honestly.

I sigh as I lean down to pick up my shirt and put it on, I then stand against the door frame to our bed room and listen to him throwing a tantrum with my heightened hearing, I bet he has woken up the entire household.

As I am concentrating on listening to my boyfriend making an ass of himself, Jay comes out of Cairo's room looking disheveled, dazed and sleepy, his hair is a mess and his shirt looks kind of stained.

"Jay?"

He seems to act like he hasn't heard me, I come a little close to him to inspect him further and I realise that he looks sickly, he is sweating and he looks like he may be shaking.

I reach my hand out to touch his forehead and he is too hot for the temperature of an average mundane, I bite my lip as I inspect his face for any signs of rashes but I don't see anything, then the stain on his shirt catches my eye and I realise that it's not any old stain and that he also has a sickly scent coming off of him.

"Jay, where is Cairo? "

His eyes briefly meet mine at the mention of 'Cairo' but his eyes show me no emotion, they are droopy and he has to keep blinking to keep them open, he then leans his head against the door frame and just before he collapses I am instantly there catching him in my arms and before I know it I am screaming my boyfriend's name.

"Freddie!"

He immediately shouts back at me from the kitchen.

"If you want me to apologise, you can forget it!"

"I'm being serious Freddie, get your butt here right now!"

I look down at an unconscious Jay in my arms as I am crouching on the floor, I sweep his fringe off of his forehead and gently stroke his hair away to try to to cool him down, Freddie finally decides to arrive with his arms crossed over his chest- clearly still in a mood.

But right now it doesn't matter, this is about Jay.

He looks as if he is going to say something nasty, but I look up at him with tears forming in my eyes and I see him soften as he realises who I am holding and that he is in a bad way.
