'My life is like the angel wings on my back,

They give me the freedom and opportunity to fly away.

But I choose to fly a different path instead.

Not away from yesterday, but towards tomorrow.'

-'Angel Wings' by Pyrrha on Hello Poetry.

Freddie's hands are on the bare skin of my back as my body screams at me to let go, gripping onto the rug as I arch my back and try my hardest not to make that noise again.

"What is happening to me?"

My Mother's spirit kneels before me, reaching her hands out and placing them on my shoulders, she closes her eyes as she also speaks in a language I don't recognise. I open my eyes and a white light shoots out of them, making the room ever so bright, my back contracts as my skin feels like it's starting to rip.

"Freddie!"

I feel him stroke his hands against the soreness of my back.

"It's ok baby, I'm right here."

All at my once the skin of my back breaks away as feathers begin falling to the floor, the pain almost tearing me apart, I fall forward as the full force of fully fledged wings spring out from my shoulder blades.

As they spring out, the pain becomes unbearable and I am on the verge of passing out, I look up at two of the most important people in my life, one stands shading his face with his arm while slightly hiding away from me, the other is standing proudly in front of me.

Like when you blow a candle out, all the light inside of me goes out and I take a nosedive into the rug, completely blacking out with my ears playing the shouts of my loved ones as I go.

~Freddie~

It all happened too quick.

They sprouted out of him so fast and with so much force, they made him lose consciousness and here I am with his adoptive Mother still laying on the floor passed out and the spirit of his birth Mother standing beside me with a smile on her face.

"I know it hurts you physically to see him in his true form, but like you did before you will get used to the pain until you are no longer aware of it. You do know what this means right?"

I cover my face with my arm.

"No, what's it mean?"

She moves over to Leto on the floor, gently stroking his hair.
