Chapter 23

She started calculating the amount of money that she could get from her grandparents' house that they inherited to her plus her own bank savings.

She kept thinking and unconsciously closed her eyes. She didn't realize long she had been sleeping by the time she was up by someone calling her from outside.

"Y/N."

Jimin was calling her name while knocking at the door, Y/N suddenly woke up. She realized that she unexpectedly slept on the bathtub. Her whole body was cold, she actually slept for so long.

She was shivering when she got up from the cold water. She hurriedly took the bathrobe and put it on and walked toward the door.

Jimin still knocking the door.

She opened the door and looked at Jimin's handsome face that looked a bit gloomy, maybe because he was fighting with Seulgi on the phone.

"What are you doing inside?"

"Taking a bath." Jimin laughed coldly: "It took you two hours to take a bath." Y/N was startled, eventhough she realized she was inside for a quite some time but she didn't expect it would be two hours.

So, Jimin was worried about her then knocked the door?

The atmosphere was awkward and she didn't know what to do or what to say to Jimin. It was so uncomfortable that she wished she could just disappear.

Jimin looked at her for a while then turned his body and laid down on the bed.

Y/N released a breath, feeling grateful that Jimin didn't say anything and went back to the bathroom to wiped herself dry and changed to her pajamas. After that she went inside the bedroom and turned off the light.

They both stayed silent in the dark. It was so quiet and calm that they even could hear each other breathing.

Y/N was busy in these past several days, shewas trying her best to get a loan with the house, she ran here and there. She was always left the house early in the morning and went home late at night.

Neon Yun couldn't help but felt more unsatisfied seeing her behavior. But Y/N couldn't do anything about it because Jun Seo kept pressuring by calling her over and over. He kept on threatening her and pushing her to get him the money.

The evaluation about the house finally out. The house turned out to be valued at seven millions, in addition to her several millions in her saving, it would be only ten millions. It was 1/10 of the money of Jun Seo requested and it was already Y/N best effort.

She took the evaluation result, went out of the bank, then gave a call to Jun Seo. Y/N felt unwell but didn't have time to care.

After he picked up the phone, she was coughing but Jun Seo completely ignored it  He didn't care if Y/N was sick, he only cared about the money.

This was the first time that Y/N initiatively gave him a call after several days, so he thought the money was ready.

"Y/N, how is it? Is the money ready? When can you transfer it to my account?"

"I only have ten million" Not waiting until Y/N finished her sentence, Jun Seo's stern voice cut her off: "Only ten million? I want a hundred million, what can ten million do" Jun Seo kept on talking, Y/N felt his sound so ear-piercing, her brain was become more and more heavy, then she used her hand to massage it.

Jun Seo also said, "I don't care, you need to get a hundred million for me, if you can't, you can just take your mother and leave, no need to stay at Song family again"

"Pa."

She started feeling dizzy and before she lost consciousness, she felt like someone beside her anxiously calling her.

"Y/N"

Y/N was in pain the time she woke up, her head was dizzy, her throat was scorching hot that it hurt. She was really sick and her whole body was aching. She was coughing for a few times.

"Y/N, don't move." Y/N tried her best to move her head to face her, finally she could see clearly someone in front of her. She smiled and said: "Krystal, was it you who sent me to the hospital?"

"No, it was Kookie, he saw you in front of the bank door."

"Did you know that you have a high fever?" She was a bit mad: "Explain yourself, what were you doing? Why were you working that hard for your cruel father? He you made yourself suffer like this."

"I'm not doing this for him" Y/N struggled to raise her body from the bed, she wasn't doing all these for Jun Seo.

"I know, it was for your mom right!" Krystal was still filled with rage but she still carefully placed a pillow at the back of Y/N's head.

Y/N tried hard to shifted Krystal's attention by asking: "Where is Kookie?"

"He is in the doctor's office." She looked at her eyes and said: "Y/N, I've told your problem to him"

"Krystal, you..." Y/N felt helpless, she finally realized why Jungkook was in front door of the bank, he must have been looking for her.

"I can't think of a way to help you, I noticed that you were so busy in the past few days but still couldn't get the money, so I think the only way was asking Kookie for help."

Suddenly the room's door was opened, Jungkook's tall figure came inside: "Y/N, you are awake, how do you feel now?"

Y/N shook her head and said softly: "I'm okay."

Jungkook stood at the bedside, looked at her and said: "You got this whole big problem, why didn't you tell me me any of this?"

He was sad that Y/N didn't tell him about this matter, he hated seeing Y/N had to suffer like this. He really cared about her, he couldn't help but felt heart-broken seeing her like this.

Y/N knew he was talking about the Jun Seo's ridiculous request. But already help her a lot of things since they were a kid and a hundred million money was not a small money and she didn't know when Jun Seo would return the money. Not to mention thay Jeon company recently had expanded their business abroad so it also needed a lot of investment. So, how could she borrow the money from him at time like this?

Krystal gave them some space: "You guys just talk about it, I will go to buy some food for Y/N." When she was in the door away, she remembered something: "Oh right, I already called Grandma. I didn't say that you are sick, I told her that you have some problems that you will stay at my house."

"Thank you." Y/N smiled and slowly raised her eyes to look at Jungkook: "Kookie, now your company needs money to expand."

At home, Jimin took his coat off then leaned on the sofa, he used his hand to undo his shirt button while his eyes looking at the clock. It was almost eleven PM. His face became colder.

He took his phone from the pocket and dialed Y/N's number. But the phone was unexpectedly off.

Jimin realized that Y/N never really out until this late and even though she always going out everyday these days but she always went home before dinner time.

But today for the first time Y/N was nowhere to be seen.

Jimin's phone rang all of sudden, he thought it was Y/N but he didn't expect the name that appeared on his phone was Kim Seokjin.
