Did we really have a whole business meeting about fucking??

Hyun-Ji adjusted the straps of her backpack as she pushed through the crowded hallway. It felt like the weekend passed way too quickly.

Today was the day. The day she would lose her virginity.

Her stomach gurgled at the thought. It had been on her mind all morning, rendering her unable to eat. Between being distracted along with her habit of looking at the floor when she walked, she accidentally collided with another female student.

"Eww!" She sneered. It was Sujin. "Watch where you're going." Her friends giggled behind her.

Hyun-Ji ignored her and kept walking. Sujin was one of those people where you were better off just not saying anything to her. Eventually, she'd go back to acting like you didn't exist, unless you were in her circle.

She would be pretty if she wasn't such a bitch. Hyun-Ji thought.

She didn't dwell on it for very long. It was time for her statistics class, the one class she shared with him.

He was always there before her. Thanks to the geniuses that created her schedule, she had to walk from one end of the school to the other to get to this class. Their eyes met for a moment before they both quickly looked away.

Hyun-Ji wasn't sure if he had actually been looking at her the entire class period, but it felt like he was. She sat a couple of rows ahead of him and swore she felt eyes on her the whole time. Maybe she was just imagining, but she dared not turn around to confirm it.

Jungkook was grateful that her seat was a few rows in front of him. He was distracted enough as it is. One more class after this one and the school day would be over. Then he was meeting her outside so they could walk together. And then...

He shook his head and tried to focus on the assignment. He was tired of re-reading the same scenario over and over because he kept zoning out on it.

A hand pushing his knee down made him jump. Taehyung, his best friend, was giving him a very irritated look while squeezing his leg. Jungkook has been bouncing it again.

"Sorry." He whispered, then started twirling his pen between his fingers instead.

"What's wrong with you today?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook wasn't normally fidgety.

Jungkook's eyes involuntarily went to Hyun-Ji, then back to Taehyung. "Huh? Nothing. Nothings wrong." His eyes went back to her.

She tucked her hair behind her ear, revealing a crimson earlobe.
