"Jungkook!"

Jungkook looked over the heads of other students until he found his caller. Sujin was standing by the front gates of the campus, waving him over. Rose was with her as always. Jungkook smiled as he jogged over to them.

"Sujin. Rose. Good morning, ladies," he smiled.

Rose's fingers curled in a wave. "When are you coming out with us again?" She asked.

"Very soon," he chuckled. "I had a lot of fun with you guys."

"Same. We should go to the skate park next weekend."

"Oh, I don't skate."

"Really?" Sujin chimed in. "You have a great body for skating. You should try it."

Jungkook felt his face burn at her compliment. He laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head. "Maybe I will," he said shyly.

"Maybe you should," Sujin replied, her eyes sparkling.

Rose knowingly looked between the two of them. "Well, that's my cue. See ya!" Rose ruffled Jungkook's hair as she dashed off.

"Hey!" He laughed. "I just got-"

"Here, let me fix that for you."

Before he realized what was happening, Sujin had reached up and began fixing his fringe. The sensation of her running her delicate fingers through his hair made his scalp tingle. While she focused on her work, he noticed her eyes were a greenish-brown, the color of dark moss on a forest tree. Her lips were pouty and stained red from her lip tint as if she had just eaten her fill of cherries that were the deepest crimson.

Jungkook stared at those lips and swallowed. She was way too close...

"There. All fixed," she said, smiling up at him.

"Thank you," he said softly, feeling his face burning again. He needed to get away from her, and fast. "I'll see you later."

"Jungkook? Can we meet up at lunchtime? I wanted to ask you something."

"Sure. The courtyard?"

"No. The rooftop. It's kind of private."

Jungkook's eyes shifted. This wasn't about Hyun-Ji, was it? They still hadn't told anyone besides Taehyung.
