"Jungkook, wake up."

Hyun-Ji cracked a sleepy eye open when he didn't respond, reaching over her boyfriend to silence the alarm that he was currently sleeping through. With the alarm off, his lock screen appeared, showing he had two text messages waiting for him. Her blood ran cold and she jerked her hand away from the phone as if it were a hot coal.

It's not like she didn't know she had his number, she just had never witnessed them communicating outside of school before, and she didn't like how it made her feel. She looked at her sleeping boyfriend's face and wondered why Sujin needed him, wondered why she couldn't just leave him alone.

Hyun-Ji sat up on her heels and shook Jungkook's chest. "Jungkook, you're oversleeping."

"I'm up," he mumbled.

"You're not up," she said, her voice wavering.

Her tone alerted him, and he sat up quickly, his eyes red with fatigue.

"What's wrong?" He said, looking her over in confusion. "Is it the baby?"

"No, I'm... the baby is fine," she smiled weakly.

He exhaled hard, his shoulders relaxing. "Good. I thought you were in labor or something."

"It's still way too early for that."

Jungkook nodded, then lay back down, pulling Hyun-Ji with him.

"Wait, don't you have to work?" She asked.

"Five more minutes..." he mumbled.

She smiled more genuinely this time and rested into him. His heart was beating slow and steady, it's consistent rhythm quieting the noise in her mind.

She didn't want to cause conflict over something so trivial, or at all. Sujin was just a classmate, and it looked like she needed his help. Hyun-Ji's insecurity was just a product of her missing him since she saw much less of him now. He worked almost daily, and his rest time was spent catching up on homework that he hadn't been able to finish during the week.

A few minutes had gone by and he still hadn't budged. He was going to be late at this rate.

"Jungkook?"

No answer.

Hyun-Ji sat up again and the arm that was embracing her fell limp on the bed. He was breathing deeply, eyes soft, mouth hanging open. She smiled as mischief took over, and she straddled his hips.

His lower body reacted to her presence first, followed by a slow, lazy smile. His hands traveled up her thighs and rested on her belly.

"Mm," he hummed contentedly. "Wake me up like this every morning."

"We'd never get to school," she giggled.

"That's ok with me," he said, his gaze warming her.

They stayed this way for a few moments more, until reality presented itself, reminding Jungkook that his time with her was limited. He reached over and grabbed his phone to check the time, rolling his eyes at the messages waiting for him.

Hyun-Ji was reminded of her earlier insecurities, and her curiosity got the better of her. "What's wrong?" She asked cautiously.

Jungkook sighed. "Sujin treating me like a personal tutor. I should switch classes, but then she'd probably keep asking me questions anyway," he mused.
