"Jungkook! Over here!"

Both Sujin and Rose waved energetically when they saw him enter the food court of the bustling mall. Jungkook smiled and waved back as he weaved through the herd of hungry shoppers towards their table. Sujin quickly rose from her seat and skipped towards him. She then sprang forward and made herself airborne, leaving him with no option but to catch her close against his body.

"I think you're happy to see me," he laughed nervously. Nerves aside, it felt good to have someone be that excited to see him.

"Of course!" she said. The blanket of fairy lights above them reflected in her chestnut eyes. Jungkook licked his lips but left them turned inward as he looked away. Her arms were draped around his shoulders, and she held on longer than a platonic friend would have. Thankfully she let go.

Finally out of her grasp, he approached the table where the rest of the group sat. It was the same crew from the last outing. He was the last to arrive. Jungkook claimed the last open seat between Sangjoon and Sujin.

"So what's the plan for tonight?" Jungkook asked.

"Be young, wild, and free," Rose answered cryptically.

"She wants to get kicked out of the mall again," Yeongsu added.

"Again? How did you get kicked out of a mall before?" Jungkook laughed.

"It's an art form. You do just enough shit to have security chase you out without getting banned completely."

"Why though?" He laughed.

She shrugged and pushed her now blonde hair from her shoulder. "Boredom?"

Jungkook just smiled and shook his head. "Sounds like it's going to be an interesting night."

"I hope it is," Sujin's chimed in. Jungkook looked over at her, feeling that her words held a hidden meaning.

He internally shook it off. Taehyung always said he looked way too far into things.

The next two hours were a blur of laughter and mischief, starting with Rose standing on a table to pose for a photo. Both Rose and Sujin walked into random stores and stood in the windows like mannequins, and they convinced Jungkook to do the same. He left said store with a job offer and gracious thanks from the manager. They said the store's business was lacking until he hopped into the display case, causing about a dozen women to enter the clothing store. Yeongsu rode up an escalator by grabbing the rubber railing on the wrong side. Jungkook watched in mild terror as he dangled by one arm while texting with the other, all the way up and hopped over the glass boundary at the top. Rose managed to achieve her goal, however, by skateboarding through the mall while blowing vape smoke into the air.

They were chased through the busy mall by security until they were far off of the property. The experience left Jungkook's heart pumping and head buzzing from the adrenaline. He couldn't remember the last time he laughed that hard.

The next stop was supposed to be the skate park, but the weather had other plans and quickly shifted to a downpour. No one had driven so they all ran through the rain like wild children at recess, swinging around light poles and splashing through puddles. After the bus ride, they proceeded to Rose's house who lived the closest, except for Sangjoon who wanted to call it a night. That left Jungkook, Yeongsu, Sujin, and of course Rose.
