Kim Seokjin
Fear consumes me as I sit in the corner of our cramped cage. Jimin is still unconscious from the tranquilizer, his head resting on my shoulder as I pull my knees up to my chest, the cold seeping into my skin.
I try to search for Namjoon, Taehyung, or even Jungkook but they have them somewhere else.
Did they kill them? I saw the blood coming from Namjoon's wound when they drug him in. It was bad, really bad. He's strong, though. He has to survive that. I refuse to believe differently. He's not exactly a weak human like myself...
I jump as a loud clang draws my attention. Looking up, I see a man walk into the room, a slight smug smile on his face. Hands clasped lazily behind his back, he stares down at me.
He tilts his head, observing me curiously as I gaze back, scared but refusing to give him the satisfaction of knowing that.
"You are rather beautiful, aren't you?"
Is this dickhead talking to me?! I grind my teeth, glaring at him defiantly.
He laughs. "Feisty. I can see what Captain Kim likes about you." Humming lightly, he walks around the cage. I tighten my grip on Jimin subconsciously, worried about what this prick has in mind.
"W-What do you want from us?" My voice is rough and hoarse.
He pauses. "Many things yet to be fully determined. Patience. You'll see soon enough what your use will be." He grins down at me with an almost psychotic air about him.
I shudder.
"My name is Jooheon. What is yours?"
I don't want to answer him but somehow my mouth moves of it's own volition. "Seokjin. Kim Seokjin."
He whistles low in his throat. "Interesting."
"W-Why is that interesting?"
"Nothing that concerns you. At the moment, anyway." The door opens again and another man walks in, silently staring at Jooheon. The leader smiles softly at the other man. "Ah, you've returned quickly, Hyungwon. I'm pleased."
I glance between them and notice the other guy—Hyungwon—blushing. He seems...very human. Like me. The other obviously not. More so like Namjoon.
"I've finished binding the reptilian with the precautions you've requested as well as tending to the other's wounds. They will live."
"Good, Good. It's no fun if they die before we get the party started." The crazy lunatic sighs.
I don't like the way he keeps side eyeing me. Not one bit. Hyungwon obviously doesn't like it, either, seeing as his expression darkens with every look my direction.
Not my fault! I have done nothing to warrant this psycho's attentions!
"Hyungwon, please ready yourself for transport. I want you to return promptly." Jooheon explains.
Hyungwon frowns. "But sir—"
Jooheon growls. "Do as your told! I've already told you what I want. Follow the orders given to you."
Hyungwon nods before exiting the room as quickly as he appeared. I hate his absence. Now it leaves me open to Jooheon and his crazy eyes.
"Now that we have some privacy, I'd like to talk to you. Let's take a walk, shall we." He unlocks the cage and helps me stands. His hands are surprisingly gentle as they steady me.
I want to keep my distance but it's difficult when my balance is so off from kneeling in that stupid cage for so long. I have to just tolerate the man's hand around my lower back as he guides me out of the little storage room and into the man hall of his ship.
It looks a lot like Namjoon's ship, to be honest. A few differences here and there but hardly noticeable. He stops in front of a door. "I'm sure you are curious how your captors are fairing, hm?"
I look at him, frowning. Captor. Does he know why we were on that ship to begin with? How? He's obviously not part of Namjoon's people or planet.
"I'll take your silence as an affirmative." He pushes a few buttons on a keypad and the door whizzes open. Inside, three steel tables restrain Namjoon, Jungkook, and Taehyung. Namjoon and Taehyung are still unconscious but Jungkook just looks...blank.
"What did you do to them?!"
He smirks. "I healed their wounds—you are welcome. They are recovering nicely."
"What about Jungkook?! He looks dead."
His brow furrows. "The medic? Ahh...he was like that when my men brought him in. I do not believe they harmed him. I'm not sure what his problem is. Don't care, really." He shrugs nonchalantly.
I stare at him slack-jawed. "You really don't care to check on him?"
"We have him hooked up to a monitor. Not much else we can do for a comatose person if we don't know the original reason."
I scoff, poking the guy in the chest. "He wasn't like that until you crazy aliens blew up the ship!!"
He rolls his eyes and straightens his shirt. "Don't you mean to thank me for your rescue? I saved you from being taken to that ridiculous planet and having unimaginable things done to your body. You humans are strange at showing gratitude."
I pause, swallowing hard. So I was right. He did know. "Why? Why save us?" Another think clicks in my head. "Wait! Wait..." I step back. "Y-you don't want them to take us to their planet because...because..."
"That would ruin our plans of eradication, yes. I am, indeed, from the planet Cedian Red. Smart, aren't you?" He chuckles.
"Why didn't you kill them then?" I motion towards the unconscious men strapped down on the tables.
"I have a vendetta against Captain Kim. Killing him is too easy. I have bigger plans." He winks at me. Eyes lazily roaming over my form. I cross my arms and scowl at him. "Namjoon has amazing control. I wonder how he's managed to keep from touching you yet..."
I can't help it, I blush thinking about the few times he did, in fact, touch me.
Jooheon notices. "Of course he couldn't restrain himself. This shall be more fun than I originally anticipated." He claps excitedly.
I hate that he reminds me of a human. Reminds me of Hoseok a little actually.
He sighs. "Shame you're going to end up collateral damage. You really are quite exquisite as humans go. I have my Hyungwon but...there's something about you."
I stiffen. Collateral damage?
