[CLOSED] Techi Short Stories

4th Year

"Nen nen! Akanen! We are 4 today!" Hirate shouted as she ran into the room and hug onto Moriya

"Yes my dear Babu, we are 4 today. Why are you so excited so early in the morning?" Moriya asked as she turn at look at the excited child

"Can we go out and eat together as a group?" Hirate asked with her pleading look

"I don't see why not, shall we go ask the rest first?" Moriya smiled as she offered her hand to Hirate who later held onto it 

"Let's go let's go!" Hirate replied as she left the room

Walking into the practice room, everyone was already in the room and stretching.

"Techi? Why are you here?" Suzumoto asked as she saw Hirate from the reflection of the mirror

"You are supposed to sit out of activites right?" Kobayashi asked as well

"You guys remember right? Today is our 4th year since we started?" Moriya asked as they nodded "This otter want so go out for a meal together with all of us" she explained

"Ahhhh that makes sense" Yuuka smiled "That's a good idea, it has been a while since all of us had a proper meal together"

Hirate was looking at everyone with a hopeful glance as she waited for their reply until Takahiro walked in

"Hirate?" Takahiro called out when he saw Hirate

"Hai Sensei?" Hirate immediately replied

"You were told to sit out of practice right?" He questioned

"Yes, I was" 

"Then why are you here?" He asked again

"Sensei" Sugai called out for Takahiro attention before she continued "Today is the 4th year since our formation, Hirate wants to have a meal together. That's why she is here"

"Oh... It's already the 4th year?" Takahiro asked with a smile as they nodded "You all grew up well, especially you Hirate" He said as he pats Hirate's head "In that case, let's start and end early so you all can go eat!" Takahiro claps his hands

Hirate smiled at what Takahiro did as she moved aside for the rest to start

"Hirate!" Takahiro called out

"Yes Sensei?" 

"Why not you be my assistant today? Like what we used to do with Suzumoto?" Takahiro asked with a cheeky smile

"Sure! It have been a very long time since we last did that" Hirate agreed excitedly as she stood beside Takahiro

Her members was glad to see Hirate this excited and happy after such a long time. Injuries came one after another, there was never enough time for her old injuries to heal and new ones just kept coming that her body was just so beat up.

They knew she was indeed stressed with the amount of responsibility the management gave to her and they would always tries their best to support this little sister of theirs. No matter how mature Hirate may look, she was just a 14 years old girl that came to fight for her dream. In a blink of an eye, the 14 years old baby they had is currently a 18 years old young lady who is trying to be healthy.

"Koba! You arm!" Hirate called out like what she used to do when she was younger

"Hai!" Kobayashi answered and corrected herself

Hirate was really enjoying this as some of the members gave her looks when she corrected them and she was just laughing at their face

Hours of practice is finally over and Takahiro ended the day earlier than usual.

"Enjoy your meal girls, see you guys tomorrow" Takahiro said "and you Hirate! I'll see you when you get better alright?"

"Sensei you dont want to join us?" Moriya asked

"No, you girls go enjoy yourself" he replied and bid goodbye before leaving the room

"Techi, wait for us here" Moriya told Hirate as they all rush out to get ready

A thought came to Hirate mind after they left the room and she picked up her phone and dialled some numbers

Some time passed and all of them is back into the room where Hirate was scrolling her phone.

"Where should we go?" Oda asked

"Remember the Yakiniku place i booked the last time? I booked a table while you guys were preparing, we can head over now" Hirate replied as she stood up

"Our baby is all grown up eh?" Fuyuka laughed

Arriving at the restaurant, Hirate walked to the reception and asked for her table

"Yes, table for 21 right? please follow me" the receptionist replied and lead the way 

"21?" some of them whispered and looked at each other "No way..."

"Your seats are just in front" 

"Thank you" Hirate thanked the staff before looking at the 4 familiar faces that were already there

"Hirate! You guys are here!" Neru called out as she spotted her

All four of them looked over and smiled at the teary looking Hirate.

"You are such a baby, you called us here and yet you are tearing up looking at us" Shida commented before standing up and hug Hirate and gave a knowing look to Risa

"Come on, sit down! Don't just stand there and block the way!" Yonetani said

"Yuipon! Here, sit beside me!" Imaizumi called out

The rest of the members were pretty shocked at the appearance of the 4 graduated members as they did not expect them to be there.

"Techi" Sugai said and caught Hirate's attention "Thank you"

Hirate replied a knowing smiled before sitting down with the rest. They started with 21 of them and here they are celebrating with the same 21 people. Though not all of them are in Keyaki anymore, they are still a family. They spent the rest of the night chatting and talked about the life they have now but of course not without those dissing comments from Shida.
