[CLOSED] Techi Short Stories

Special Chapter - Yuukanen

It has been a known secret in Keyakizaka46 that their Captain and their Vice-Captain have feelings for each other and are together for quite some time now. The Princess and the Drill Sergeant seldom get into any fight as they were each other's support and are known by all that they tolerate each other's behaviour to the extreme and would talk it out after but nobody knows a huge fight was awaiting them.

"Eh Yuuka!" Habu came over when Sugai was talking to Moriya and Moriya immediately signal her to talk to Habu and moved away while Sugai just replied her with an apologetic look

"Mizu? What's wrong again?" Sugai asked when she noticed the frustrated look on Habu's face

"She is ignoring me again... she is sticking so close to Hirate recently" Habu complained

"Everyone is going to Techi recently you know? I mean... everyone other than you that is, since you got so pissed off that Minami is giving all attention to Techi recently" Sugai replied and Habu just sigh

Everyone is flocking around Hirate recently due to the recent diagnosis of her injuries as they were not expecting her injuries to be that serious. Everyone in the group is trying to give their utmost care and attention to the injured otter and that includes Koike.

"Did... Did Techi say anything to you?" Habu asked knowing that Sugai just got back from visiting Hirate who was in the hospital for treatment and up till now, she is the only member that has not visit her yet

"She did mention that she hasn't seen you in a while and was worried if she did anything to have offended you. I told her not to worry about it and you were just busy..." Sugai replied "Try to talk to Minami, I believe she is waiting for you to talk to her instead"

For the past month, Habu has been approaching Sugai a lot as she did not get the attention she wants from Koike and Moriya was aware of the whole situation hence she was understanding enough to actually sacrifice her time with Sugai for Habu but she did felt a little annoyed at the amount of time Sugai spends with Habu as Sugai is pretty much occupied by Habu for almost every day.

Moriya has been really tolerant to both of them and decided to spend more of her time with the 2kis instead since Sugai is always taken away from her and she also wants to bond with the 2kis more. Unknown to Moriya, she has been spending so much time with them that Sugai is getting more and more jealous when she sees Moriya's blog every single time 2kis appear. 

Sugai gets more annoyed knowing the Moriya actually stayed over at Yamasaki's place the other day without informing her. She decided to talk things out like what they usually did and she didn't expect it to turn bad.

"Yuuka? You are home today?" Moriya asked as she removes her shoes

Yuuka has been spending a lot of time with Habu a so much that she have not been home for dinner for a pretty long time.

"Yea, Miichan finally asked Mizu out for dinner today so I'm home today. Why? Don't want to see me?" Sugai asked in a challenging tone

"What? Of course not! I miss you a lot!" Moriya immediately replied and rush over to hug her

In front of others, she is a scary drill sergeant but in front of her princess, she is like a servant to her dear princess that she never wants to lose.

"You miss me? I thought you have been enjoying your time with the kids? Especially Ten-chan?" Sugai replied solemnly

"Hey, are you jealous of them? I am just trying to make our bond stronger between 1ki and 2ki, what is wrong with that?" Moriya asked back

"But you are spending too much time with them and not me!" Sugai shouted

That sentence just made Moriya's blood boil "and you had time for me?!" Moriya shouted back "Look at yourself! You have been spending your time with Habu the past month for every day and I was left alone and now you are saying that I don't spend time with you?!"

"You said you understand her situation and let me accompany her!" Sugai rebutted

"Yes, I did! But have you ever considered my feelings? I was all alone and wanted company so I went to the kids! No matter how understanding I am, I have my limits too Captain!" Moriya emphasised on the word Captain and turn to put on her shoes again

"Where... Where are you going?" Sugai asked

"Somewhere and not staying here. We both need time to cool down" Moriya replied without turning back and left the house

Sugai grab onto her hair and mumbled a soft "I messed up..." 

It was after Moriya left that she realised what Moriya said was true, she have been neglecting her so much yet Moriya never once questioned her and understood her yet she is the one that confronted her instead.

For the next few days, the tension during practice and filming was so high that everyone knows something was wrong with their Captains and was very careful with their actions including Habu. Habu knows about what happened as Sugai called her that night after her dinner with Koike. She was feeling guilty as she and Koike are okay yet she is indirectly the caused of the fight between Yuuka and Moriya.

Moriya returned home the next day but gave the silent treatment to Sugai as though she is not visible to her which made Sugai really frustrated and guilty as well. Days continue to pass and Sugai suddenly receives a call from Hirate.

"Yes Techi, what's up?" 

"Have you talk to Nen yet?" Hirate asked

"Eh?" Sugai was shocked

"I'm in the hospital doesn't mean I don't know anything Yuuka... Nen came that night you guys fought and are here for almost everyday" Hirate said

"W... What did she tell you?" Sugai asked

"Everything Yuuka... You messed up big time this time round" Hirate said

"What should I do now Techi?" Sugai asked

"Call her. Make it up to her. Give her the attention she wants. She misses you and is waiting for you" Hirate said and hanged up

Sugai thought about what Hirate said, she looked at her phone before taking a deep breath and dialled Moriya's number.

"Yes, Captain?" Moriya cold voice sounded

"Nen... Can we meet for dinner tonight my love?" Sugai asked softly

"..."

"Nen?" Sugai asked and look at her phone to ensure the call was still ongoing

"..."

"Hello? Nen?" Sugai tried again 

"I'll love to" Moriya replied and hanged up

No matter how much Sugai angers the drill sergeant, there will always be a soft spot in the drill sergeant's heart for her dear princess.
