As Ginny sat, on her favourite chair by the fire, peacefully reading her book about quidditch, the grand portrait doors swung open, revealing a distressed Luna. Staining her cheeks were lines of hot tears, streaming down her pale face.
"What's wrong Luna?" Ginny asked her friend.
She had seen her like this too many times for Ginnys liking, thanks to a certain group of Slytherins."All the slitherins are making fun of me and pushed me down the stairs- AGAIN!" Luna said weakly, collapsing into Ginnys arms.
This had been the fourth time this week that the slytherins had caused her closest friend this much pain. She needed to put a stop to this, and she needed to do something big. Then a fabulous plan entered her mind.
"Right that's it!" Ginny exclaimed, shutting her book, "Don't worry Lu, they won't be bothering you any more." And with that, Ginny walked the way her friend came, climbing out of the portrait hole.
An evil smile kissed her lips as she plotted her great plan.
Ginny stormed down the hallways, straight into the great hall where everyone was having breakfast. She knew where he and his minions would be: right in the middle of the slytherin table.
Without hesitating, she marched up to where they sat, causing some people to go quiet and stare. As she was about five seats from the git she huffed, and with two steps she stood on the table.
Her eyes locked on her target, she stalked closer to him, kicking all the dishes of luxurious food out of her path. Now the entire hall was quiet, watching the scene before them unfold.
Draco Malfoy, observed the fiery red head with amused eyes. He didn't know why he teased Loony Lovegood, but he was pretty sure it was something to do with her red headed friend's response.
"Hello, my little red." His cockiness coating every word, "You are looking angry as always."
He wanted to say she looked stunning, as she always did. How her beautiful, red hair shon when the sun kissed it and how he could get lost in her eyes, that he loved to fall into their obis of blue.
So many things he wanted to say, but couldn't."I hate you!" She bellowed, as she kicked his food in his face.
He had baked beans all down his pants and pieces of toast hung of his shirt. That will definitely leave a stain, he thought.
"How dare you lay a hand on her! If you ever come near me or my friends again, I will kill you!"Her words hurt.
Though he knew he deserved it all, it wasn't any easier on his feelings. The girl he loved, for some weird reason, hated him. It was times like this Draco despised being in slytherin. It made him wonder- what if? What if he was put in griffindor, if wasn't in a death eater family.
Maybe Ginny would accept him.
She then kicked him in the face, causing a nasty crack to echo through the grand hall. Draco winced in pain, he was pretty sure she broke his nose. But he knew he deserved it.
Ginny on the other hand was loosing it. She hated how he thought he could treat people so badly.
She then made a vow that she would never befriend Draco Malfoy, or anyone from slytherin.
