"You're okay." He heard a kind voice whisper in his ear, "I managed to deflect most of the spell but a small part skimmed your shoulder. I managed to heal it enough to stop the bleeding."

Opening his heavy eyes, Draco was met with a shadowed face, the light attacking their back, causing the outline of their hair to shine. The extravagant curls stuck out at all ends, the persons plump frame hovered next to him.

"Where is Ginny?" He croaked out.

The person gave no answer, only turning her head as Draco's father walked over- looking the most concerned Draco had ever seen him.

"Draco." He gushed our in relief, bending down to hug his son, "what have I told you about duels? Never take your eye off your opponent."

"Dad- you tripped over thin air. You can't tell me shit." Draco laughed, coughing slightly.

Draco noticed the person who healed him chuckling slightly, as Lucius rolled his eyes. He scruffed-up Draco's hair as he walked away, sitting on a piece of debris. He rubbed his head as he sat.

"What happened to Gin?" Draco repeated, as Lucius sighed, his foot beginning to bob up and down anxiously.

"Voldermort took her." The shadowed person spoke roughly, Draco now realised the person was a woman.

"What?! Where did they go?" He asked, highly concerned, standing up.

He winced slightly as the weight of his arm kicked in, and the sharp pain in his shoulder began to throb.

"I don't know." The person spoke, now at the right light so Draco could see her face.

Madame Malkin stood, looking solum.

"If I threw away that stupid dress the moment I got it the poor girl would be okay." She spoke, sadly.

"We have to get her back." Draco spoke.

"I'm afraid we cannot. It is her destiny to battle him. She cannot be assisted by us." Malkin replied, as Narcissa walked over, looking fragile.

Placing her hands on her mouth, she ran over to her son and pulled him into a bone crushing hug, causing him to wince slightly.

"Thank Merlin you're okay." She sighed, her eyes tight shut.

"I'm fine mother. What happened to aunt Bellatrix? You look pale."

Gulping as she let go of her son, she turned her head to the side, disgusted by her actions.

"She is dead." She spoke, shaking her head, "we need to continue fighting. We need to get rid of as many death eaters as possible. Draco, are you strong enough to carry on?" The mother asked, as Draco nodded his head. "Okay then." She smiled, before turning to her friend. "Thank you for saving my son." She thanked, as Madame Malkin smiled, nodding her head.

A speck of black and red flew across the fields which surrounded the castle. Tho the suns beams were weak, Draco could tell from the distinct urban hair and each curve in the body, that it was Ginny.

"Ginny!" He exclaimed, as he watched her plummet behind a large hedge, birds flying into the air from the disturbance.

"Merlin." Lucius spoke, standing, "this is not good."

The three adults exchanged anxious glances, whilst Draco began running over to the clearing. Not looking where he was going, a bolt of light flashed past his face, causing him to stumble back, retreating from the middle of the battle.

"Son, you remember the dragon spirit we told you of?" Narcissa spoke, causing Draco's ears to twitch. "You need to use them now son."

Turning to his parents, Draco spoke.

"But I don't even know how to use them."

"We can guide you." Lucius said, walking over to his son.
"My father told me, when I was a boy of the dragon that protected the golden apples. Every night, he would sit me on his knee and tell me of how magnificent the dragons were, and how, wherever they went, they would all be flying towards Landon. You are Landon. All you need to do is tell them you are here." He smiled, as he handed Draco a dragon tooth necklace.

The chain was a mere old leather rope, and hanging off it, was a pearl white tooth. The point so sharp, Draco could see the bright shine reflecting of the tip.

"I have been looking forward to this the moment you were born. Pass me your hand." He smiled, as Draco held out his right pale palm, shaking slightly from nerves.

In the centre of his palm, where all the wrinkled creases of skin met, Lucius pushed the tip of the tooth into his skin, causing Draco to wince slightly. After a second, the pain was gone, and Lucius took the tooth out, and hung the necklace around Draco's neck.

"I'm so proud of you." Narcissa beamed, as she stood besides Lucius.

A gold light radiated off Draco's body, but only a second later, it was gone.

"All we need to do now is wait." Lucius spoke, as Draco glanced at his palm.

Expecting to see blood, Draco's eyes widened as he saw a thin line of gold running along the wrinkles in his hand.

"What? I don't understand."

"There is no time to understand, boy. The order needs us to fight." Malkin interrupted, as the adults nodded in agreement.

"But Ginny-"

"The best way of helping her is to fight." Malkin spoke, as she usher off to assist a student in their fight against a death eater.

"You're going to have to trust us, son." Narcissa said, as Lucius ran over to the fighting.

Looking at his mother's strong eyes, Draco felt torn. A part of him knew Ginny needed him, but the other understood the best way in helping her was to fight- leaving her on her own. After a moment of thought, Draco finally nodded, glancing to the place he last saw her, and ran into the heat of the battle.

Lying alone in a dark field, Ginny felt the mud press against her clothes, the cool moist dirt causing her body to erupt in goosebumps. Shaking, she tried to find her strength to stand, but to no avail. She lay in the field- her mind blank, as the darkness finally closed in on her, her body giving into the exhaustion. Her breaths felt like a part of her soul was leaving her, and as she exhaled her last time, she had no happy thoughts to send her off.
