"Draco- why are we the exact opposite place where the battle is?!" Blaise hissed, huddling in the old pub.

"Because Amycus took Ginny!" Draco replied sharply.

"And Slughorn right? Only you said Ginny and Slughorn earlier." Seamus added.

"Yes and Slughorn." Draco snapped, "But he took Ginny and I don't know where he took her."

"He took her to Voldemort." Narcissa answered, as she walked into the pub. "I can't believe Dumbledore kept this secret entry. It's been here for the last forty years at least. I remember sneaking out of here with your father when we were your age." She recalled, as she assisted a fatigued Ginny walk.

"Gin!" Draco yelled, running up to her.

Snatching her out of his mother's eyes, he grasped her in his arms, looking over her for any sign of discomfort. After she confirmed she was okay, he placed his lips upon hers, as if trying to confirm she was real.

"Draco, it's okay." She smiled, tangling her hands in his hair. "I'm here. I'm okay."

"I watched him take you. I watched him curse you and I did nothing." He cried into her shoulder.

"Hey, hey. There was nothing you could do. I'm here now." She reassured.

"I thought he tried to- like he tried to that night." He spoke in vain, as Ginny closed her eyes for a second.

"He didn't get the chance to. Your mother saved me." Ginny smiled, looking up to Narcissa, appreciatively.

"If I stopped Carrow when I had the chance, she shouldn't have had to." Draco grunted, as Narcissa shook her head.

"No son. It was my fault Ginny was taken. I was a coward. I was selfish. I told Voldemort I'd the dress at Malkins, and said he could get the prophecy from it. I didn't know it was Ginny before it was too late." She spoke, ashamed.

"It's okay. I told him a lie." Ginny smiled. "Draco- they said-"

"I'm going back to get Slughorn. He was forced to make a potion to break the protection spell. The battle should begin soon." Narcissa spoke, before leaving with a pop.

"Am I missing something?" Seamus asked.

"Same here. Gin, I thought you were a lesbian?" Blaise added.

Smiling, Ginny shook her head.

"I'm afraid not. That was a cover up. Draco and I had a secret relationship ever since our argument on the train." Ginny confessed.

"So you're parents never wanted you to break up with her?" Blaise asked.

"Well yes, but only for our safety." Ginny replied, before her face turned sour, "speaking of safety, how is that house in France?" She asked, as Draco looked to the floor in shame.

"I'm sorry Gin. I didn't know what I was thinking. I was looking at my draw and realised no life would be worth living... if you weren't in it." He spoke, his gaze finally reaching her eyes. "I love you Ginny."

Beaming, she wrapped her arms around his neck and attacked his mouth- forgetting their friends were there.

"We could be kicking death eater but right now." Seamus spoke, grimly.

"Tell me about it." Blaise groaned, looking to his boyfriend.

As a satisfying pop was heard, all kissing stopped, and everyone turned to the sound; Draco and Ginny holding hands.

"Thank you Narcissa." Gasped the voice of Slughorn.

"No worries. Now go! The kids are waiting for you. I need to go back. Make sure you don't tell Draco a word." She called, as another pop was heard.
